The Benchmade Adamas is an ultra-versatile tactical knife made with a drop-point, D2 tool steel blade for exceptional strength and slicing power. The 60-62HRC blade hardness enhances the knife's overall resilience, and it is held in place with an AXIS locking mechanism for precise, efficient cutting. Dual ambidextrous thumb studs allow for safe opening and prevent accidental deployment when in transit. The durable G10 handle features a lanyard hole and stainless steel liners for additional strength. When the knife isn't being used, the tip-up, reversible pocket clip attaches easily to a pocket or belt, and slips into a durable nylon sheath for safe carrying. This long-lasting knife is easy to use and retains its edge even after extended periods of use.

I have owned many folders and even other Benchmade knives, but this has definitely has topped them all. I havent had it long yet but right out of the box this thing is a beast! Great grip, action and like all Benchmades its razor sharp out of the box. Made from D2 steel i imagine this knife will last more than a lifetime! Its a bit pricey for a folder but the quality is well worth it.

I am a huge fan of Benchmade knives and this Adamas knife is arguably one of their best. It's just a plain old folder but the ease of opening and closing is amazing. It's size, this is a big folder, is surprisingly ideal for many uses. You will not be sorry you own one of these. I am partial to straight (non-serated) blades but they also make the knife with a half and half blade.
