The new EPOCH Level 3 Light Bearing Tactical Holster includes Blackhawk's proven drop-leg system and allows tactical operators to choose from many popular under-barrel lights while providing three levels of weapon retention. The patent-pending EPOCH retention system engages the pistol’s ejection port when holstered and won’t let go until you release it. As an added safety measure, the Pivot Guard opens by thumb activation and is designed so it won’t close accidentally and lock you out of the holster. This unique design accommodates popular under-barrel lights such as the TLR-1 and X300. Plus, the placement of the EPOCH Auto Lock release and an index finger indent reinforce a full master grip by allowing the shooter to draw the firearm with the index finger and thumb in proper alignment. EPOCH Auto Lock thumb release (patent pending) | Thumb-activated Pivot Guard and Ejection-Port Lock | Fits popular lights (TLR-1, TLR-2, X300 and X300U-A) | Reinforces full master grip | No snaps or hoods to accidentally open | Flexible thigh platform conforms to leg size | Y-harness system distributes weight evenly and keeps holster vertical | Quick-disconnect swivel buckles for quick mounting/dismounting | Accessory mounting points for pouches, knives, magazine cases, etc.

The holster was purchased for an M&P9 2.0 (4.25) without a light, and provides all the retention promised, with an easy-to-learn method of release with tactile indicators for "muscle-memory" that promotes a good weapon grip when drawing. The articulating belt straps are also a plus. With the holster design, articulating belt straps, and rubber backed leg straps, the holster feels much smaller and lighter than the pictures would lead you to believe. The leg offset/cant (tilts away from the leg slightly) also promotes clearance and easy weapons purchase with gloved hands. Forward and rearward cant can be adjusted, and the holster comes with inserts to accommodate two different styles of lights, or no light.

When it came i was very excited. I opened the package and the holster fit my M&P 9mm perfectly without the light attachment.

This is a great holster for the hard to find light bearing Glock 21 Gen 4. Superior retention and this holster males it easy to handle a large gun such as the .45 cal. Glock 21.

This is an awesome holster, fits my Glock 21 w/ Surefire X300U-A like a glove. Fantastic retention, ease of draw, and fit makes this holster definitely worth the money. 11/10 would recommend to a fellow firearm enthusiast.

Great, works perfectly with my sidearm. I got it for when I'm out practicing marksmanship with my rifle, doesn't get in the way when prone, comfortable.

Does everything it’s suppose to do. The retention is great. It fits good with the light but not without. All in all great holster.
