I have this holster for most of my pistols. I recently purchased a Sig Sauer P-226 Tac Ops in 9mm so I ordered this holster or it. Upon receiving the holster I went to put pistol in it and it would not fit. I believe it is due to the tactical rail Sig put on the Tac Ops version of the 226. Blackhawk has not been keeping up with the multiple versions of pistols produced by Sig Sauer, because I tried this holster on my Sig P-220 Super Match and it would not fit it either and Blackhawk states this holster is for both Sig P-220 and P-226 models. Before ordering a Blackhawk for a Sig Sauer it would be wise to contact Blackhawk directly to ensure it will fit the exact model and variance of Sig you are getting the holster for. Other than that these are great holsters and wok very well.

Oh Boy (or Girl) here we go...
I have read several reviews regarding the danger of this holster, and have seen it outlawed from some groups because according to them it was unsafe which to me is total B.S. I believe (and this is after about three years of using the holster regularly) that the fault lies in both the reward system these groups have in place and the ineptitude of the shooter!
These groups are centered around speed (who is the fastest) with little true concern for safety.. As anyone who has learned properly, you start slow and progress slowly as far as speed, with SAFETY being Paramount.
Many shooters I see really push themselves into the danger zone and will continue to have ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGES AS LONG AS THE FOCUS IS AS IT IS.NOW.
Another secret to the speed issue is to avoid being tensed up, Again these groups let the shooter "Get Ready" before the "Buzzer" so to speak. Right now the scenarios are bogus in my opinion, and when real stress is added , the results are obvious. But then again, we blame the equipment instead of ourselves don't we.
I would like to know how many people who have done the requisite 3,00 to 3500 repetitions for correct muscle memory have had this issue appear.

I got this for a belt holster. Watched reviews and looked at many, many holsters. It was this or a leather thumb snap. I made a wise choice. A well thought of design. Love the Serpa auto lock on this holster. A well made holster, Great fit for my shield 9. No sloppy fit. Note: Drawing any weapon your trigger finger should be along the side of the weapon outside the trigger guard. That is important and it is also explained in the instructions. If your the type that tends to put you finger on the trigger while un-holstering. Retrain yourself or get instructed. The serpa concealment holster comes with a paddle option also. I give it 5 stars. I like it. thanks Blackhawk. p.s......respect the weapon

I purchased this holster for range use.
I have found it to be very comfortable, easy to draw from, and it seems to be built well.
Your index finger rests on the release button, and all it takes is a little pressure to release the lock while unholstering the weapon.
This was my first purchase from this company, and I have been very pleased with the quick delivery of the order.
I will be ordering more items in the future. Seems like they are a great company to do business with.
The price was very good also.
I believe that it is very important that when someone spends hard earned money, that they not only receive a good product, at a reasonable price, but that the product is delivered in a timely manner.
If you are looking for a nice holster for your Beretta 92FS, this is a very good choice.

I have used Blackhawk Serpa holsters for 10 years, own 4 of them. Plainclothes law enforcement, concealed carry, PPC service competition. Only recently did I learn about the controversy regarding this rig. REALLY, banning the holster because the trigger finger releases the retention device?!? That is Bullsh*t, folks. RULE NUMBER ONE: Keep your booger hook off the bang switch, period. If that is beyond you, I would suggest refraining from carrying a firearm. In my opinion, the Serpa CQC is as close to a perfect combination of lightweight stealth, speed, and security as you could ask for in a holster. Well wishes to Blackhawk, keep up the good work!

After a couple weeks using this holster I am very pleased with the product. I use the belt loop attachment and haven't tried the paddle attachment yet. I'm a little too big to carry my P320 IWB comfortably and the gun is a little big for that too. Now that I have a more comfortable option and the retention system I find myself carrying on a daily basis. The weight of the full magazine causes the gun to lean outwards making an obvious print under my shirt, so it's not the ideal gun/holster combination if you need total concealment, especially in the summer months with lighter clothing. Overall, exactly what I wanted.

I very much like the durable, non-scuff plastic material that Blackhawk uses for their holsters and their mag pouches. I don't like Kydex particularly because of its "noisiness", it's "scratchy-ness". The softer plastic that Blackhawk uses is less prone to scuff weapon finishes and its not as noisy. The retention adjustment and lock works well with my Sig P320s. I mounted this holster on the Blackhawk Reinforced Web Duty Belt w/Loop Inner for Range shooting. I'll be purchasing another to use with the included paddle for Concealed OWB carry during winter when I wear heavy coats and sweatshirts. NICE holster.

I like this holster for myself carrying. Nice to have the option of the paddle or belt clips, retains the gun really good. Now for the bad, I bought this for my wife, the paddle holster is so wide it does not fit her body and ends up hurting her. I also feel that the holster sticks to far away from the body due to the extra thickness needed to change from the belt clip and paddle. If I were looking for carrying options and not worried about concealed carrying it would be a great holster. Would not recommend for concealed carry.

i really like the serpa holsters, the only significant thing i can add for review is this: 1911's to me come in 3 basic sizes, govt 5", commander 4" and officer 3", blackhawk doesn't make an officer-size holster but this one works for my Kimber RCP 3". and what you can do is dremel/saw off the excess plastic, it won't adversely affect the function of the holster at all - does not cause structural or retention issues , it has no affect on that it simply makes it smaller to fit the 3" gun.

Blackhwak Serpa holsters are a go to for carrying OWB(outside the waistband)
and I've never been let down.
The fit is snug and with some practice the draw can be quick and smooth.
I have to say that some of the other Blackhawk gear has changed a bit over the years but as long as they keep to the same standards for their holsters they'll be no issues.
Do not hesitate to purchase a Blackhawk holster especially a serpa for whichever handgun you carry, you won't be disappointed!
