High Speed Gear’s patented line of polymer TACOs function much the same as their nylon counterparts. The body and brackets are made with durable and flexible, proprietary polymer and are laced together with bungee cord for the same versatility that customers have come to expect from the TACO brand. As with the originals, these pouches grip and retain a wide variety of pistol magazine styles, calibers and small tools, like knives, multitools and flashlights.

I am familiar with the high quality of HSGI gear, and this mag pouch is no exception.
Solidly sewn and well made overall. The polymer sides are *very* stiff and rigid, however. Great for magazines and maybe multitools that are about the size of a double stack pistol mag; not as great for round flashlights.
Now the pouch WORKS, and has really good retention of my flashlight, just not as form-fitting as I was hoping it would be is all.
This is not a design flaw, just be aware that, depending on the flashlight, there may be some dead air space around it when holstered. The polymer does not wrap around at all, but the bungee retention holds pretty tight.
The only other issue is that you will likely run out of bungee if your light is very thick.

I ordered this to replace the pouch that my Leatherman super tool 300 came with. That pouch was flimsy thin material, and was starting to get thread bare in the bottom. No description for the taco on if it would fit. Well it does, and dang near perfectly! I was also worried that the plastic wouldn't grip the Leatherman. But it does, not so much that it's hard to get at, but enough to keep it in the holster during a work day. Would have given it 5 stars but saving that last one for the longevity test.
