Ka-Bar Short Fighting / Utility Knife Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

I was about to buy this knife off Amazon, but after reading several reviews warning of cheap fakes that were being shipped to people, I didn't want to take any chances. I went directly to this site to make sure I got the real thing. The blade is the perfect size. If I could change one thing about this knife, I'd make the handle about a half inch longer. Regardless of that, I love this knife.

Simply the best knife I own. This will outlive me, and the future generations I pass it down to...assuming the recipients take the proper care of it...I need to have kids first though XD...The leather is gorgeous. I oil it once a week and it's starting to get that vintage feel. Not to mention the blade. It cuts through ANYTHING! One last thing: be sure to use caution with it, and keep it away from children who haven't been taught proper knife care and safety protocol.

Just the perfect size for all-around purposes. And the sheath's retainment method is pure simplicity. I don't even use the snaps during normal carry, but they're there for additional retention when the going gets a little rougher. Would like to have seen a little sharper edge on the blade, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this knife.

Got this to go on my fiancé's plate carrier. It was the perfect size for her being smaller than traditional Ka-Bar blades i'm accustomed to. She likes how it fits her hand, and how the grip feels. She likes the 3 point retention system as it makes her feel more confident it can't be drawn and used against her. I run the "full size" and both are amazing quality and have a great edge on em. You won't go wrong with this if you're looking for a fighting knife that either is small enough to fit your setup or fit your hand.

As a female this knife is perfect for my hand size, and the plastic sheath mounts nicely to a plate carrier. Probobly too small for most guys, unless you're feeling "extra" tactical.

The knife is really well made and is great but the handle should be a little longer. Will probably be too short for everyone except young adults.

Great piece of equipment but I was surprised to find it did not come with any kind of edge on it? Got the leather sheath it is also top notch

I would go with a different sheath next time. The plastic one is a bit hard to use. A leather one would be nicer
