The original Ka-Bar Fighting/Utility Knife was designed to serve our troops during World War II and Ka-Bar continues to expand on this impressive design. The Short USMC Fighting/Utility Knife boasts excellent control for versatile use. It is constructed with easy to sharpen 1095 Cro-Van Steel and is an ideal choice for hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. KaBar has also provided a brown leather sheath for convenient carry. This sturdy piece of equipment is made in the USA and follows the legendary Ka-Bar Fighting/Utility Knife design. The lightweight, incredibly sharp Short USMC Knife is made just as well as the original at only 3/4 the size.

Being a former Marine I’ve had many Ka-Bars. I gave my son my last one upon his graduation from boot camp. He has been deployed 4 times in 3 years. I wanted to buy a new one for my trophy case.
I guess I didn’t read close enough to see “Short”, so my disappointment is on my shoulders. Never in my career did I ever see our hear of a “Short” model. Oh well I screwed myself. The quality is okay, but was not the quality I had in previous models.

I thought it was a was full sized USMC Ka-bar with a 5.25" blade (which I thought I had issued to me back in the 60s), not 3/4 sized Kabar. Turns out this 75% Kabar is what I've been looking for, size wise, for years (easy to carry). Happy mistake for me. Can't thank this site enough for all their customer service!

Lost mine a while back when my ex took it and never gave it back perfect replacement carry it everywhere I go where it’s allowed. Couldn’t ask for a more reliable perfect carry knife.
