It's a SPORK and it's made by Ka-Bar. Sweet. For starters, it's definitely tough material. It's more than a SPORK. It's a Ka-Bar SPORK.
I recently got a SPORK in a subscription box (BB) from a fancy schmancy company in Switzerland. Inside 45 seconds, my peanut butter had kicked said SPORKS Bootay. They may be able to make a good Boy Scout knife - but they need to leave the SPORK making to the professionals. Not the Ka-Bar, this thing was like "I WILL SLAY THE PEANUT BUTTER!!" SEMPER FI!! (If you don't get Semper Fi of this SPORK, you don't deserve to even own this SPORK" Oh yes, it slayed the peanut butter. Mixed it up, scooped up a mega spoonful, smeared it all over my toast and was like "NEXT??" The knife is polymer as well. I haven't slayed a steak with it, but I will. Being a Texan we slay dead cow meat at least 10 times a week. That said, I've been TDY to Boston. I didn't bring it because I was afraid Tango Sierra Alpha was going to secure my Ka-Bar SPORK and gift it to his wife or some jacked up mess like that. I miss my SPORK. I think of it often.
I got the peanut butter slaying soon-to-be-steak-slicin' SPORK on sale. It's worth every penny or dollar, even full price. No doubt. So if you love peanut butter but have suffered limp SPORK or worse BROKEN SPORK (As bad as Broken Arrow), then do not fear - trust in the Ka-Bar SPORK. And God. And the 5.56, it's better than you think.
Just to think I almost used my real name on this review.....Or did I? Ex-MI, you can't trust a word we say, except every word I said about the SPORK. That you can trust. Every. World.

This would make a great Christmas present to the soldier/veteran/LEO in your life. Or if you have some half-crazed Prepper uncle. He WILL write you into his will over this SPORK.

It's made out of great plastic very tough. I used it on steak and it cut through it very easily. Still sharp after many uses. The knife snaps right back in to the spoon every time the same as the first time. No bending or breaking or melting. I don't suggest putting it in actual flame or oven. Soon portion is a little small but it holds liquid well. The fork is tough thick prongs can be a little hard to just stick it in to some meats but when pressed in firm it will hold on to it. No weird taste even straight out of the package. I have not put it in a dish washer only hand washed because I don't have one but again holds well under hot water. No regrets on the product. I bought 6 great gift to any camper, scouter, military member, fier fighter or even just a family member for the lunch box. I use mine every day at work for breakfast lunch and dinner.

I love the size, weight, shape, and feel. I bought this for backpack camping, and for that purpose, and so for me my primary considerations where weight, size, and multi-usefullness. It is small enough and light enough that I have no reservations about adding it to my pack (if I grip it in a fist, the handle is slightly larger than hand) The business end seems to be a good compromise in size for those who would like to keep pack items small and compact, yet large enough to be useful. The build quality of handle/knife seems good initially (not sloppy). Overall I'm pleased with it, EXCEPT for ONE THING, if you look very closely at the picture you will see a very small rectangular hole that is just above the spoon. The hole goes through both ends and connects to the hollow inside where the knife point would be. The only reason I can imagine for this "feature" is that it is meant as a drain hole for if you had to wash out the inside of the piece (which you are going to need to do SINCE they put a hole so close to the eating end which will allow any food and liquid to find it's way into the hollow of the handle) I intend on filling and plugging this hole with JB Weld as I do not desire to save my left-overs in my spork. . .

I've bought a couple of items from this company and the one thing that is consistently true is that their products are cheap... I mean poor quality. This spork is plastic. I purchased it to replace a similar Ka-Bar sport I'd lost in the field, it was heavy duty steel. Similar situation with a knurled tactical pen. This crap are cheap knock offs. All I can say is buyer beware. I did not take my own advise.

I bought this product specifically because when I went thru SERE training, we were required to manufacture some sort of tool and I made one out of wood, therefore, I was excited to have one to display along with my own. The blade material is soft and deformed easily, the plastic Spork is small and has three indentations which will probably trap food and would be difficult to keep clean in field conditions. I believe that at least one of the indentations (spoon upper surface) is a hole designed to ensure that the blade is not"vapor locked" within the sheath. Suggest the hole be moved approximately 3/4" away from the edge of the spork and harder tempering for the blade prior the anodizing. The tip is extremely weak.

ITS GOOD N GREAT!, HOWEVER IT DID COME WITH FACTORY PLASTIC EDGES!, THAT WERE SHARP AROUND THE SPOON PART!, SO I QUICKLY TOOK OUT MY NEW WETSTONE!, N HONED EM RIGHT OFF!, AND MADE IT SAFE AS CAN BE TO EAT FROM!, I ALSO SHARPENED THE TIP OF THE HIDDEN KNIFE INSIDE THE HANDLE!, NOW ITS MUCH MORE PRACTICAL!, N IAM CONFIDENT IN ITS USES FOR ANY CAMPING TRIPS!, AND FOR SURVIVAL!IT'S MY FAVEORITE!

The problem with disposable "sporks" is that they are wimpy and if you need to cut your food, you probably end up using your tactical knife or leatherman. This KABAR Tactical Spork solves that! Combat tough cutlery with a knife concealed in the handle so you don't have to tear your steak with your teeth like Ally-Oop. Great Item.

I was really jazzed about getting a couple of these for the BOB's, After trying it out I was disappointed in the size and shape of the spoon area. It's kind of small and not really comfortable to eat with. It definitely works and will fit the bill but I wish it was just a bit better. I guess with the KABAR name I was expecting more.

I bought these the first time because they were a spork... I mean, how could you not? But I've come back to buy one for everyone in my family because they all LOVE them. They're perfect for lunch boxes, camping trips or just because. The only negative thing my husband has said is that they're not ideal for broth soups. To which I explained...'it's a spork.'
I'd recommend these for everyone!

Rough edges, molding marks not smoothed out. Handle retention in the sport base is not well made, it feels like it will wear out fast. Used once, not easy to eat with. If you get it for camping or for emergency use it might be worth it. I got it for use at work to avoid disposable utensils but i am going to find something else.
