Instructions are vague. They look simple but when you remove the front factory set screw to attach the laser's set screw, the gun came apart. That's when the fun began! Ended up taking it to my local gun smith for installation. its set for 25 feet haven't had a chance to shoot it yet so I can't say how well it will stay on target. ITs made for Ruger so who knows.Looks nice it is compact Installer on Ruger LCR 22
