The ergonomically designed Maxpedition OCTA Versipack is a rugged waist pack with ample storage space for all your necessary gear. Built from rugged 1,000 denier ballistic nylon, this pack features a spacious main compartment with internal organizers and drainage grommets. Mesh and cloth dividers keep gear separated, and the dual zipper flap opening provides rapid access when needed. The front compartment has integrated elastic loops that secure larger items like radios or water bottles, and the front and back slip pockets offer added utility. There is a removable waist strap with elastic retainers for even weight distribution, as well as side-release buckles for quick detachment. This pack is treated with Teflon for easy maintenance and grime resistance, coated with polyurethane for water resistance and reinforced with taped and finished internal seams. Versatile, reliable and lightweight, this pack is perfect for any mission.

Excellent product like all of Maxpedition, it is my favorite EDC, I use it for short trips in the city and I can carry all the things I need, wallet, my leatherman, my streamligth ProTac 1L-1AA, my toothbrush, sanitary towels, scorer, my tactical pen, my Glock-22, keys ... in short everything. The material and seams are top quality. The compartments allow you to perfectly organize all the elements. I recommend it.

I actually got this because it is NOT meant to be a gun bag. Thus, it does not scream "gun." I fit my Glock 19 in the main compartment perfectly and the spare mag fits there as well. For a day pack, it would be excellent as well - check out some YouTube video demos on this and see how folks are using them - a couple of reviews are excellent, including one from a guy who sounds Australian. This is my new everyday carry option bag!

I love my Versipak, but it's made for skinny guys. For the price there should be a waist extension added automatically. So I had to spend another $50+ to get an extension pocket. Either that or I would have to return it, because it will not fix my waist and I'm not fat. Lol
