I really like this shirt with all of its features. Be aware though that it runs large. I can usually wear a large or medium depending on how the shirt is cut so I ordered one of each. I tired on the medium first and thought it had been labeled incorrectly as a large. I then opened the large and compared to the medium, the large was in fact larger than the medium. Even though its a bit large, including longer arms, I kept the medium and returned the large. If medium had fit better I would have rated it 5 stars.

I bought this for my husband, because his tacticle shirts from another website bought years ago are showing signs of wear, especially around the tops of the collar.. I asked him how he would rate it and why. He said he'd give it a 4 out of 5 star, because of the material of the shirt. It is too thin. He likes the canvass material the best, especially because it's getting cold outside now. I have poor eyesight and I'm the only one of us that uses the computer, so I ordered wrong. The way the shirt is made is good though.

I bought this one thinking it was a little lighter than it was. Not a huge deal. I figured I’d give it a little bleach bath to lighten it a bit. This shirt is so good, I physically could NOT bleach it. I neutralized it with hydrogen peroxide and washed it. This shirt was not damaged, still repels water and kept it’s original color!! Keeping it now to go with my jeans. Incredible!!!

Most important to keep in mind: 5.11 shirts run large. I usually wear a large and the medium is a perfect fit. I'm 5'8", wear a 40 suit, and weigh 185. I love the materials used and there are a ton of useful pockets and features. The 'battle brown' is a great color.

Shipping from Tactical Gear was fast. Had one small customer service issue and was well taken care of.

Nice enough to wear to a casual restaurant and when traveling, and functional enough to wear on duty. Pair with matching Tactile pants or, for comfortable travel wear without sticking out in a crowd, mix the shirt and pants colors. Epaulets and breast badge holder come with the shirt and can be sewn on for a few bucks by a professional.

5.11 has impressed me with every item I have purchased. High quality is their standard and I've come to rely on that. Thank you 5.11 for being my "go to" company, from Tac Lite Pro clothing, "Patrol Ready" bag , to my "Rush Delivery Lima" bag. I know that what I order will live up to the demands that I will put on it in the field.

With the exception that the shirt is bagging at the bottom, I love it. The colors are great. The material is great. The ventillation in the back is great. But it is a bit bulky when tucked in. I wear an extra large. The fit in the shoulders were perfect, but the bottom half fit makes me look wider than I am.

I love wearing this shirt s a lightweight jacket, unbuttoned over a t-shirt. It's loose and long enough for CCW and using a pocket holster, I can carry my short-barrel .38 Special in the "hidden" pocket behind the left breast pocket. The Teflon coating is super.

I wear this in the winter months when I go up to the cooler climates of AZ. I also use this for Training outdoors in the summers, The sun in AZ is intense and it keeps me from getting Burned! Its a decent product and you get what you pay for.

BLUF: Recommended, fits a little loose. //

Most of my tops are x-large, so naturally i bought an extra large. I feel like i'm swimming in this shirt. Great material, breathable, comfortable. I'd buy again.
