Excellent for on- and off-duty wear, the 5.11 Professional Polo provides a sharp look anywhere at any time. These shirts are made from a 100% cotton fabric that is specifically treated to prevent shrinking, wrinkling or fading after repeated use and laundering. A No Roll Collar and sturdy melamine buttons provides a neat, professional look that lasts all day. These shirts accept embroidery and silk screening methods well, so you can customize your shirt with the logo of your unit or department. These shirts are a great choice for first responders and tactical professionals looking for a comfortable, professional duty shirt

This is my favorite fair-weather shirt at any cost. The breathable 8-ounce 100% cotton is what makes this shirt top tear. Most shirts are 6-ounces or less, too thin. There are no advertising Logos on it. The collar hold it's shape. Wish it were available without the sleeve pen pocket, but that is no big deal. They do not offer an XLT, however the sleeves and body on the XL is long enough, for for me at 6'-3".

I purchased a black professional polo this past spring. I was initally very impressed with the crisp apperance and the 'talk' back up the shirt. I wore it many times, and it quickly became a favorite. However, I recently pulled the shirt from my closet for use and noticed that the shirt had noticably faded after only a few months of light use and 'as directed' washes.
Now, the shirt has faded, except for one spot, which has remained color fast (about the size of a half-dollar); the shirt now resides in a forgotten drawer, ready to be replaced. While I enjoy using may 5.11 products, I will not be wasting money on the Professional Polos again.

I now have four of these shirts. The first two I bought over a year ago and although they have been washed at least weekly, they look as good as new, with zero fading (even though they are black). All these shirts iron easily, always look smart, and take a beating. I am nearly always carrying a backpack loaded with camera gear - lots of on and off, lots of friction. The shirt takes it all in stride.
Always cool to wear even in hot conditions, this shirt, despite being cotton, does not become soaked with sweat - it just does a great job of keeping me cool and functioning.

I wear these sorts of shirts 40-50h/week. I have more than 5 of them and after countless washings they hold up great. No shrinking and do pretty well with fading even after washing and drying in warm water and heat. They run true to size. The pen pockets are handy, but only if you're putting thin plastic pens. Any larger pens or with a rubberized grip will give you some grief trying to get them in. The shirts can also be a little heavy in hot weather, especially if you are wearing a shirt under it.

I'm probably not your typical 5.11 customer, but I wanted to thank you guys for making an outstanding product that meets my needs.
I'm an active right hemipelvectomy amputee (no right leg), and I ambulate with forearm crutches. The result is that I quickly wear shirts out under the arms.

Your Professional Polo stands up to everything I do, looks great, and easily outlasts other shirts at twice the price.
I'll be spreading the word. You may end up with a new customer segment.

The 5.11 Polo is one of the best shirts that I have ever purchased. Recently my agency adopted the grey polo as an optional wear item for our K-9 and ATV units due to the exceptional quality and value of the 5.11 brand. These shirts maintain their color thru repeated washings, and the collars do not roll or lose their shape. I have several shirts in different colors and continue to buy more. I highly reccommend them for both on and off duty use!

I've used these shirts for quite a few years and I do like them however you must be VERY CAREFUL that you do not spill anything on them. They stain extremely easily and are next to impossible to clean. I've had to wash these shirts in some cases 5 or 6 times to get a stain out if it will come out

I ordered another Professional Polo because of the durability of the other ones I have. They wear great and shrinkage (if any) is minimal. The others I have have held up great. They are the only polos I truly enjoy wearing. Besides, they look great, too.

Without a doubt this is the best made EMS polo on the market. It has pen pockets, it will not fade, the material will not fray, roll or ball up, and the collar will not roll. The moment you put the shirt on you will look and feel more professional.
