I work security at a bar on the weekends and at times it ges a little crazy, I needed boots that I could stand up in for 4 hours without fatigue, overheating, that weren't to heavy in case I had to spring into action, also when the floor gets wet I needed to ensure my footing was stable when it gets slippery. These strike boots are effective in every category of my needs. When having to run to an incident i noticed I felt very little impact when my foot hit the ground and an immediate springing action that assisted in pushing my foot back up. The same incident involved wet floors and while everyone else was slipping, I was standing tall and never lost my footing. This is an athletic boot for sure, the tech bates uses in these boots are unlike anything I've felt before; I damn near forgot I had these on. I ordered another pair of bates for my other job as well with the same anti fatigue tech and slip resistant bottoms. Excellent job on these I'd recommend them.

I have put these boots through quite a bit of wear and tear already with constant walking. Working in slippery surfaces, etc. And thus far they are holding up beautifully. From day one they were a bit snug on my foot, but not to the point of discomfort. They are well designed with a good arch and required hardly any break in time whatsoever. These boots are worth the buy and I intend in purchasing them again when the current ones wear out.

Best boots Ive ever owned. Incredibly comfortable from day 1. They feel slightly chunky when you first wear them but they break in quickly and are so supportive and comfortable. I have had literally 0 foot pain since I've been wearing them daily for about 2 months and Im on my feet pretty much all day. Very durable and water proof. Theyre not too heavy either. Amazing boots. Worth the price, you really are getting what you pay for here.

I will say it was a bit tough to break in, but that's always how I know they're going to last. After a few days, they were basically built for my foot and so comfortable. I've only had them for a month now, but I wear them every day but Sunday. No signs of wear. After my epic failure of my last boot, I am extremely pleased.

Boots are true to size. Fit like a sneaker almost. Not tight fitting in the front. I’ve worn them for about a month now, I pull 12-13 hr shifts at times with them and they feel great.

Looked good, fit OK. But soles wearing out after less than 4 months. Soles are not solid, wore several holes through so they are no longer waterproof. Expected better from Bates.

been some time with it now and I can still say this boot is very good. my only beef is that the zipper is small and feels like I can rip it off without even trying. other then that good boot and worth buying
