I searched for "US made hiking boots" and Danner came up on top of the results. Chose this model and was extremely disappointed when I discovered they were "made in China." Later, I found that the description on the Danner website contained "imported" in very small letters. I could have bought "made in China" at any discount store for a lot less. I expected more from this company.
