I am a 64 year old, former Marine, with foot issues. It took a lot of searching and trial and error to find a pair of boots that would be both comfortable and supportive. These boots more than do the job. They were comfortable right out of the box, are not too heavy to wear all day long, provide good grip on slippery surfaces, and provide great support. Initially, I purchased these to wear during easy hikes and during inclement weather. Now, I find myself going to them for quick trips or simply daily use because they are so comfortable. Highly recommend! Great job Danner. This site made the purchase process easy and the boots quickly arrived. Their price was good too.

I bought these boots in dark brown 6 years ago direct from Danner for $132 shipped. Initially, I thought that I would use them for day hikes and such. While they are definitely rugged enough for hiking and have miles of trails on them at this point, they are not too bulky for everyday use. In fact, I wear these things all the time and after more than 6 years of use, you can hardly tell. I wear them to work, in the yard, out and about, basically everywhere. They have taken the punishment of the trails, the snow, ice, mud, etc. and still look good enough to wear to the office. They are extremely comfortable, light, completely waterproof, and have required no maintenance--not even new laces. I'm a huge believer in Danner boots, I have worn them daily for years at work, but never believed that these lightweight Danners would deliver the way their stitch down leather boots do. I was wrong. While this type of sole cannot be replaced making them in essence disposable boots, with the way they have stood up over the past 6 years, I expect to get more than my money's worth. Take it from someone who is really, really particular about footwear, these are great boots.

Regular width was good even though I have started ordering wider sizes for most brands.

Sharp design even though I initially looked for a solid dark color. Just rubbed some mink oil in before first wear in the snow. Wish there was extra set of laces in box, just in case. Second pair of boots from Danner- happy so far.

These are the only boots that I will wear to work because they are so comfortable and durable. I even have them resoled after I wear them down to make them last longer, but when I do have to buy more, I will always buy another pair of these. I would highly recommend these boots!!

With less than 400 miles hiking, the boot's outsoles are very worn and several of the lugs are almost gone. Very dissapointed in the Danner Co. as they refuse to recognize the problem. I have heard this about this particullar outsole from others.

I am very active and have very flat feet & weak anckles. I need a very Supporting/Flexible/Well made shoe. This is the only shoe I have worn for the past 6 years (except for my tennis shoes @ the gym). Water proof, breathable and soft/tough leather.

Going on two years and they have been beaten to death, but they keep going. I have no doubt they will give me another two or more.

Have always worn Danner, and these boots are just a great example why!

No reason to even try a different boot. I have had several pair of these over the years and you just can't beat them for comfort and durability. They fit perfect right out of the box.

Great boots. These boots are comfortable and give good support. Have used Danner work boots and Danner hiking boots. They are the best boots I have worn.
