I own seven pairs of Nike sfb’s. Compared to the T8 NFS the Nike’s feel cheaply made and far less comfortable. Nike’s are notorious for their heel padding causing blisters even after regular usage. Conversely, it is entirely possible to go on a 10mile ruck run in the T8 NFS and not get any blisters. I was truly amazed by this.
And while the Oakley Light Assault boots are truly ultra light, their minimalist feel leaves a lack of confidence is durability and an ability to handle the elements. The NFS is almost just as lightweight while providing significantly more stability and higher quality material.
Another note: I love the laces. I typically swap out my laces with 550 paracord mostly because the Nike and Oakley laces tend to snap and are tough to grip when your fingers are numb from the cold. The laces on these actually work really well with the boot and are secure. (We’ll see how they hold up over time, may have to switch to paracord due to wear but for now they’re great)
Anyways hope the review helps. I never write these but I was compelled this time because I was such a huge fan.

It came in earlier than expected, which was cool.
Tried them on and for the first 10 seconds I thought they were tight.
Left them on, went to a store down the street for a bit and walked around in them for about 1 hour.
To my surprise, they were not tight at all but were simply snug to my feet.
The very next day I wore them to work all day, then ran home in them. Yes, ran in them for about 6 miles. NO HOT SPOTS. NO BLISTERS. SUPER COMFORTABLE!
If you're looking for boots and haven't ordered these, you are missing out.

Just got them, but some of the boys have had these for years and they love them. If you're looking for a good jump boot then these won't steer you wrong. If you're planning on doing weird stuff in foreign lands these will take care of you too. Definitely worth the buy.

*my only complaint is the length of the laces. I have to wrap them around my ankle 3 times before I can tuck them in and not have laces floating around my boot. I will have to buy shorter laces so I can put them on faster (a critical task in officer candidate school)

The only down side was yes as other reviews mentioned go a half size bigger then your tennis shoe size. I also went with a wide because I'm border line between regular and wides and they fit great. The regulars were just a tad to skinny.
