NIKE has taken their iconic military boot, the SFB Field, and perfected it. What was there to improve? Look to the details. NIKE did, turning feedback from the field into engineering bullseyes for this addition to the legacy. The upper has been redesigned and reconstructed, now stitched meticulously with leather for durability and quick-drying ventilation. A midsole made of articulated phylon, an innovative lace-locking system, and a complex outsole keep the SFB Field 2 in a league of its own.

I have been wearing them daily for about two weeks. After a uniform change for the USAF, I shopped around a lot for a pair of boots that wore like athletic shoes, had durable uppers, and were the right color.
These have met my expectations, Nike has made a great boot for daily use, either in the office or in the field!

I was not expecting for this product to have extra material around the neck of boot. It acts more a like a winter boot because it has two layers around the neck, which make it uncomfortable to use. The sole is fine, the bottom grip is great, which is the reason I bought this boot, because I have the original one. Which only has one layer of thin material, which allows my leg to breath after sweating during my road marches.
If i could I'd return it. But more then anything, I still don't have summer boot replacements.

So, this is my third pair of Nike boots that I have owned. These specific boots are a bit rigid. They dig into the ankle. The lacing of the shoe needs work as well. It’s very difficult to get the show cinched and laced to go.
What did I expect? Well, from previous purchases, the shoe has been one that can be used immediately for a ruck March, straight from the box. These definitely need some breaking in. There is also too much cushion at the top box of the shoe. These shoes also tend to run a bit bigger than the rest. I have wiggle room in the shoe, approximately a half inch. The extra roominess of the shoe is felt throughout the shoe, not just the toe box.
What do I like? The company has done a good job with seeing the toe of the shoe. That has been a major complaint of mine in the past. These shoes also have a harder sole which allows better navigation of off-road terrain.
Once I have broken in the shoe, I will be more than happy to update my review.

First off, I am extremely surprised at how fast These Boots got here, you guys said 6 business days and they got here in 2. Great job.
The boot itself is extremely slick in design I absolutely love the look of them, and they are everything that I've ever wanted in a boot, except of course the Souls which are a little bit lacking as far as support, but that can be ignored for the time being. I've heard that they will wear out with a lot of use so I'm not going to use these boots as a daily, but for my hiking and more casual activities.

So I’ve owned 3 different types of Nike boots and these ran bigger than normal. I usually wear an 11.5 and ordered a 12 since it states they run small. Got the boots but they were too big. Suggest ordering your true size. Overall boots were lightweight and looked decent. Will be ordering them again in the right size.

I have no complaints about this product besides what I assume was just a factory defect where one side of one tongue was sewn too high up the boot cause it to dig into my leg.

No complaints at all from these. I've had Danners, Rockys, Bellevilles, and other brands of boots, and these definitely are competitive. I was worried that since they didn't offer a wide option that the boots might be too narrow, but they weren't at all. Ordering a half size up like suggested landed me at the way boots usually fit if I order a wide.
No word yet as to durability, but over the first couple of weeks they've broken in easily and held up well.

I’ve never had Nike combat boots before, i decided to try them after some recommendations. The footbed is nice and spacious and comfortable. There is DEFINITELY a painful start to wearing these, which i haven’t completely gotten through yet. They rub above your heel and cause blisters. Hoping they will improve as they soften up. I’ve been wearing them for over a week now every day, my right side isn’t blistering anymore but my left is. Otherwise they have a decent construction thus far and are very comfortable and light weight on the feet.

The fit and feel is similar to my first generation SFB boots. The new version has more material in the tongue area and lace area, This pair has a little stiffer leather, making the break in period a little longer.
Hopefully they last as long as my last pair. (2 years of regular regular heavy timed rucking)

Fits true to size, would not recommend ordering a size up. Toe box has more space than other SFB’s. This is the heavier version of the SFB; it has a heavy duty outsole as well as a wider sole. But very comfortable. Altogether great boot. Only wish it were easier to lace up.
