Bought these for a four week training in North Florida in July. So obviously heat, rain and mud. We did a land nav course where not it rained all day, the day prior. Everyone had soaking wet feet but not me. These boots amazing. There was no break in either. I put them on and they were extremely comfortable and didn't weigh me down.
Having a bigger foot 13 extra width it's hard to find a consistent and comfortable boot. At 6' 2" 280 I'm a big boy. These things held up the whole training and still going. I've been tasked moving around the state doing more grunt work with my unit and these things are like clouds.

The only thing that some might take away from it but I enjoy is the look. They did not look like "brand new" boots very long. One trip on a range and they looked like any other nice broke in boots. Nothing was torn or frayed but they didnt look like you just got to basic training and it was your first day. I really like that but that's me. I'm attaching photos. I know they need to be cleaned and would look better but hey it's a military boot for a reason. This is what they look like after two months of continuous use through muddy land nav courses and dirty ranges.

I got rid of my rocky's boots for these. I had a standard summer pair and wanted a water proof boot pair too. Florida's stupid weather changes by the minute. I was going to buy the waterproof rocky's buuuut I've worn the propper pants for a long time and figured since the pants are good maybe the boot will be too. I was right and so happy to save huge on them.

I live in Massachusetts and I work full time as a painter, I have been wearing these boots for over a year and absolutely love them. I have worn these boots to work everyday and they have also become my hiking and archery boots because they do everything I need them to extremely well.

The Propper Series 100 boots are a good boot. Immediately out of the box, they are comfortable, and require minimal break-in time. Soles are grooved well for outdoor use, and when wet, are keep your feet dry. I've worn these in rain and 20-degree weather, and they keep my feet dry and warm. I do have one complaint though.

The eyeloops and hooks are standard pattern and I love that the lower lacing and upper lacing are separated by the leather stitching--makes it easier to bend at the ankle.
However, the laces are thin (I can smash them flat with my fingernails), and already seem to be wearing in the upper hooks. Also, the lacing, as you can see is also SAND colored. Propper, why not use paracord laces?

Overall, if the boot had better laces, I would've given it 5-stars.

I've only worn these so far around the house, and on my elliptical machine, to break them in, as I won't likely be using them much out in the field for awhile. They appear to be well made, with good stitching, and an overall good, relatively lightweight design. I just ordered these boots in my regular shoe size, 8.5M, which felt like taking a bit of a chance, considering how many other boots out there just don't usually size that well, but these do. What a relief. The laces definitely seem a bit thin, so I will probably get thicker backups for them, just in case they don't hold up. This water proof version of the boot probably does not breath as well as the regular version, but they still seem to breath well enough while I'm wearing them on my elliptical machine, so I'm not too worried about these making my feet super sweaty all the time - except maybe during the peak of Summer. Plus, I just prefer my boots to be water proof for use during the rainy season, and for when it snows in my local area, which is high desert country next to the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. A somewhat more breathable, but not water proof boot, just wouldn't make much sense for my particular needs. The coyote brown color is good, and I have no complaints about the quality of the leather, but I am curious how well the appearance of these boots will hold up after prolonged use. Only time will tell for me, but other reviewers seem to have had very good luck with how well these boots hold up after many months of heavy use. For the price, these appear to be a very good deal. Sure, you can get something a bit better. It will tend to cost you a lot more though. For reasonably priced general purpose military boots, I am really impressed with these so far, and I can't wait to get them outdoors and put them through their paces.

It seems like Propper really did their homework on this boot. Check out the supporting straps on each side of the boot ( 3 per side). The modular over-toe lace system prevents snags and catching on under brush. The back loop really helps when you are putting on a boot with a gore-tex lining. Lace points - total of nine: 5 speed lace uppers and four regular lowers. You might notice that the lowers are similar to the Bluecher system that Magnum employed for a time. Once you tighten the lower four they tend to hold in place. Which means you need to loosen these up before you put on the boots. There is very little slop in these boots, in fact, they conform at almost all points on your foot. Comfort ? Well I have read a few reviews where guys are saying it's the most comfortable boot they ever tried on. I'm tempted to agree. Waterproof, comfortable and good support. In my case I found just ordering your ICB size works good. So if you're a 10E you don't have to go up to 10.5D to get the right fit. If you watch the sales here at TG you might get a pair for just over a "C" note. Not bad at all!

These boots are great! The look really nice, no glue showing, equal coloring around the soft leather, and these fit very nicely! Propper was even nice enough to put foam riser inserts for a better fit. The waterproofing is nice too, I don't have to worry about walking through a puddle or creek as much anymore. Btw, the waterproofing is not a spray and is built in, which means the suede can and will get stained by water and anything else. My only problem is that with the water proofing the breathabilty is reduced. After a long day of work with thin socks and high 60 degree weather my feet ere white and swollen from all the sweat. My socks and the soles were totally drenched as well. It felt like I stepped in a puddle with just socks. Although this is not always the case. My advice is to make sure you wash out the sole after a long day because it will not dry out as fast and thus not absorb as much sweat. So if you want a hot weather boot, this is not the one to use, the non waterproof one is much better in that case. But compared to my old Rocky's, these are 5000 times better.

These boots are durable and well made with no problems with the sole or stitching. I spend most of my time on concrete, gravel and turbine grating and there has been very little tread wear and have good traction since purchased a few months ago. Laces are a little on the thin side. I replaced them with 550 cord, but that is my personal preference. They are water proof and have kept my feet dry during wet conditions. However, they do not allow your feet to breathe very well. These boots are great during rain and/or cold, but if worn during hot summer months, make sure you have a change of socks, you’ll need them. Boots fit true to size and are quite comfortable right out of the box with very little break in. Overall, good quality, decent price, comfortable, waterproof, but not very breathable.

I feel the overall quality is nice, I was a bit disappointed to find made in China on the tag. I have worn for two weeks and have blisters on my heel cords right and left, also on my ankle bone where the boots have been rubbing. I have tried different socks, and various heel pad configurations to try and adjust pressure points on my ankles. Currently I am going to go back to my Military Issue until I can either get and exchange or a different brand. The looks deserve a five star but the fit for me should be a two.

These boots are absolutely amazing. Most comfortable things I've ever put my feet in. I had surgery on my foot and it has never been the same since. No matter what I ware I can't walk fast or for long periods of time, but when I put these bad boys on, I can walk fast and all day long without the pain I used to have. I will buy again and probably not always anything else.

I received this product in a timely manner and was represented accurately. I suggest a longer break period than I gave them. I found the height exactly what I wanted and where I use these boots has moisture. Time will tell how they hols up. So far I am pleased.
