I have several pair of 5.11 Stryke pants and shorts and love the layout so I decided to give a couple of pair of Propper Kinetic pants a try.
First the good: In many ways these are functionally perfect in terms of pocket space and layout. The material is great and sturdy. The front “cell phone” pockets will easily hold a large cell phone like the iPhone 7+.
Now the bad: The stitching finishes at the waste and belt loops, at least on this pair are terrible. Loose threads, unfinished edges on the inside of the belt loop that fray against a belt, and one reinforced belt loop on the front is separating after a few days of wear and one cycle of laundering. I also prefer a heavy snap to a sewn button at the waist closure, but Propper does provide spare buttons.
At the price point these pants could have the potential to be my new favorite, but the quality issues will keep them off my list. Hopefully I can redeem them with a trip to the seamstress, but unless there is a significant improvement in the finish issues I won’t be buying another pair.

This is a new product from Propper, and, I absolutely think it is top notch. I have been using a competitors product, that is very similar. Wasn't sure about these so only ordered 1 pair to try. I will be ordering more very soon. At a price point that is 1/2 of some others, these are well made, with all the features of the more expensive brands. I wore these while doing some climbing and hiking in the foothills. They stretch, breathe, and move as well as any I have worn. They seem to be very durable as well. They have a very nice water repellency also. As stated earlier, I will definitely stock up on these!

I regularly wear 5.11 Stryke pants and these are basically identical but less expensive so I figured I would give them a try. Quality is very good and the shirt stay material around the waist is a nice touch but I don’t like the fit very much. They ride high in the waist groin area to have the inseam right. I was hoping the leg with would be a little narrower for a slimmer appearance compared to the Stryke pant but they are about the same.

Great quality but sizing was way off by being too big. I ordered what I thought was the appropriate size after carefully measuring but waist and length were both four inches too big. I'm waiting on the replacement now.

The pants are well made. The front pocket are a big plus because it's perfect for my Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphone. The flap pockets in the back give it that professional look. I got them a little bit longer 36 length instead of 34. But it still looks great. Also, no more splitting my pants because these have extra wide material between the legs. This is my second pair because I just had to have more than one pair. :-)

I was introduced at the NRA Convention to the Propper Kinetic pant. Have been looking for a good quality, formal utility pant to wear during presentations. I found it in the Kinetic, at a great price.

I own every version of tactical pant sold here. Over the years there have been my favorites, but one brand has always had a feature that the other did not. I often wished a company would highlight all the features I found useful and incorporate them into a single pair of tactical pants. I don't have to wish any longer, the brilliant folks at Propper must have heard my thoughts. Their new kinetic pants are as close as it comes to having all the features I require in a tactical pant. I have always had an affinity for the Propper brand and have always been pleased with the materials used and the overall durability of their products. The Kinetic line of tactical pants is sure to be a winning combination in my book!

Look sharp and are comfortable. Need I say more. That is all that I need in a pair of work pants. OK- I love them and these are my second pair.

I believe they are just as good as the 511 Tactical’s but for less. I bought one pair and loved them and came back and purchased 3 more.

I ordered the Kinetic tactical pants. I was happy to see they came in 36in. length. The fit and material are great.
