Public safety professionals can get a clean, highly functional look that works well in hot and humid weather with Propper Lightweight Tactical Shorts. Made from a rugged 65% polyester / 35% cotton fabric, these shorts have a professional cut that looks great and perform well on or off duty. The 11-pocket construction includes two utility/coin pockets, a large cell phone pocket, front pockets with reinforced openings and two wallet pocket-in-a-pockets. The shorts also feature a D-ring at the hip for carrying your ID or keys, a self-adjusting waistband to maintain a sure fit as you move, 9-inch inseam and french fly with snap-cap closure. For additional protection, the seat is reinforced and the shorts are coated with DuPont Teflon treatment that guards against stains and resists fading and wrinkling.

I bought these two inches larger for CCW. They barely fit without the IWB. When I bend or kneel, the legs are too tight and pulls the waist down. The inside back pocket catches your hand when you try to access the big pocket on both sides. I have worn Propper pants and shorts for years and have been very happy but these are not well designed or fitted. Will not buy these again.

I have only one simple complaint. They are sized a size smaller than what you would wear in 5.11's or Black hawks! So if your ordering a size 30 better get a size 32!

Otherwise these are the best shorts I have ever owned and when I mentioned the others above I have worn some other manufactures before.

I love the easy care, they are comfortable and look very classy. The last as well as the other's previously mentioned but for a lot less $$$$.

If your not a billionaire or a CEO of an oil company then for the budget minded buyer, shop no further, just get over your ego thinking you can still fit into the same size pants as you did in high school.

I like the design a lot and the shorts fit good when I am standing up. Because the material felt very stiff, and they seemed to fit, I decided to wash them before wearing. Unfortunately, when I wear them they have NO stretch in them at all, so when I sit they are super uncomfortable. I am not sure I will ever wear them anywhere now, but since I washed them, I can't return them.

And the front pockets are deep enough. I cannot stand front pockets that are shallow. The material seems like it will last and wear well. Most men will like the length of the legs. Fits current styles. I'd like them an inch and a half shorter, but I'm and old guy. Not a problem though. Very good choices on where they put the pockets. I like them.

I have been buying these shorts for my husband for work for the past 4 years...He loves them and they wear extremely well. I bought two pair for my 32 yr old son for Christmas; he thought he wouldn't like them and said I should return them. I told him to try them on and he loves them. I just two more pair for him.

I was pleasantly surprised to find they had my size. I normally ship at a big and tall store, and never find my size on regular websites. I order these expecting to have to return them because they wouldn't fit right. When tried them on the 11st time I was amazed at how comfortable they and what a great fit. Thanks.

I got these for use in a warehouse. The constant leaning on moving belts tends to shred cotton clothing in a month or two, but these show almost no signs of wear after 3 months!

I've also worn them through the very hottest days and found them pleasantly comfortable as they don't become moisture laden and start to fall off.

The pants have a strange cut, perhaps meant for actual "duty" use...all the same I wear my pants lower than the natural waste and find I need to roll the waste band over once to keep my belt from slipping over the top of the elastic, and it better positions the pockets.

These shorts run very small! Other reviews stated that they are close to size but I am a size 36 and could not get them on. Also, these are quite stiff material and would be very hot. They do seem to be HD and would wear well over time.

I returned them and ordered a different brand/style.

This is the 5th pair of shorts I have ordered from Propper. The former ones ran small, so I ordered a size larger.
I read a review that the shorts now run true to size and that is what i ordered. They fit well.
I have Propper pants that I like also.
They are good value for the price

Naturally I am always leary when it comes to purchasing clothing items online but these Shorts were exactly as described with a great fit. They were actually a little better quality than I was anticipating. Very pleased with the decision to purchase and the product.
