The ultimate lightweight, rugged and versatile hunting boot, the Rocky ProLight Snakeproof WP is engineered for maximum protection in any environment. The full-grain leather accents the nylon exterior that is not only weatherproof, but also ingrained with a snakeproof material, designed to prevent injuries caused by snake bites. Rocky guarantees a cool, dry interior thanks to their Rocky waterproof construction, which ensures that no moisture enters the boot. Perfect for warm or cold climates, this ultra-protective boot operates on a Prolight BioMech rubber outsole, which maintains traction on the roughest terrain without losing grip and still offers fully functional support and mobility. With an aggressive lug pattern for added surface contact, this is one boot that will not disappoint.

Wanted to be sure I put these through a real test before reviewing. Today we went footslogging in the trails for 3 hours. Muddy, humid Mississippi in July after a big rain! Deep sucking mud up over my ankles, and water holes almost to the top of my boots consistently throughout the trails. Just got home and took them off. Socks bone dry. I can honestly say these boots surpassed expectations! Comfy, great fit, no real break-in needed, wonderful insoles feel just like my Dr. Scholls gel inserts in my rain boots. Normally wear 7.5-8 women's. Bought men's 6.5. I have been wearing regular rubbery rain boots in the trails for over a year. These do not feel any heavier to me, and they seem properly flexible. I thought tall laced boots like this would be a bear to get on/off, but they are easy. I am only 5'3" and I figured I would look crazy in these men's boots. But I actually LIKE the way they look - bonus!

I love the fit and comfort of these boots. I have worn mine about ten times. Today I stepped in water which was about two inches deep for about 30 seconds and got leaks in both boots. The right one went first, leaking on the side opposite the arch. I stepped out of the water, immediately, but had wet feet the remainder of the day.
It was the first time I ever had these boots in water.
Bottom line: don't step in water and they will keep your feet dry.

I struggled to find a good pair of boots last few years and found these last year. Best boots I've ever wore. Easy to get on and off, wore in 8 inches of water and had dry feet. I even wear these in winter time when deer hunting and keep feet really warm considering how light and comfortable they are. I did however buy them kinda small. I wear a 12 normally but I needed a 12 wide. I will buy another set in wide for sure this year. I normally get maybe two seasons out of a boot and these after one and spring turkey don't even have the slightest bit of wear. I highly recommend!

I am on my third pair of Rocky lights . I wear them every time I am involved in outside activities such as mowing, bush hogging, hunting, fishing and ATV riding. They are comfortable to wear and are very lightweight. They are easy to spray repellent to keep ticks away.

These boots are wonderful, I can wear them all day stomping through the woods and climbing hills stand in water a foot deep and at the end of the day my feet are dry and feeling fine.

I ordered these because of my fear for snakes, yet I love walking through the woods. These boots are comfortable and I’ve stomped through wash outs with ease and my feet stayed dry. Fortunately I haven’t seen a snake yet, but I feel secure enough in my boots that when I do... it won’t be a big deal.

Light weight..good grip...good ankle support...waterproof and comfortable! My only issue was I had to buy mens snake boot socks to get them high enough. Rocky should make some pretty socks for girls :)

I haven't worn these into the field yet or for any extended time, but they fit well and they're lightweight and comfortable. I especially like the 'tension grommet' that keeps the toe laces from loosening after that first good pull. I'm looking forward to putting some miles on them soon!
