The Rocky S2V Enhanced Jungle Boot is a Coyote Brown military boot made in the USA, Berry-Compliant, uniform-compliant (AR 670-1) and GSA-approved. This is in addition to other great performance and comfort features that support you and your mission. This jungle boot is puncture-resistant to protect you from stepping on sharp objects. Roll-Stop Ankle Stability reduces injuries by preventing ankle roll while running on uneven terrain and on long marches. Your duties can take you through wet, swampy conditions. Avoid wet environment injuries with Advanced S2V Sieve technology from Rocky. It circulates air in and water out as you step. The Rocky S2V Enhanced Jungle Boot is made using American flesh-out cattle hide leather and 1000D CORDURA; it resists items that could tear at your boot. It has an increased lug depth and breasted heel will increase your footing. This eight-inch combat boot, has a proprietary high-walled Vibram sole that's high-quality and long-lasting. It's both stitched and cemented to the upper so this boot will stay together for the long haul. You get speed lace eyelets and NATO hooks to get your boot on quickly and securely.

Personally, I prefer this over the original S2V. Although the original S2V can't be beat when it comes to ankle support, the S2V enhanced still offers decent ankle support. The main differences I could spot were the amount of codura on the boot compared to the original. Not only does this dry faster than the original, it is considerably more lighter. On their site, they list the weight per pair is 1.7 lbs for a size 10. The original S2V is 4.0 pounds per pair for a size 10. These are also a bit more breathable than the original. My only complaint about any S2V is the Rocky AirPort insole. It's comfortable for the first time trying on the boots and the first few days in the field, but after about 8 days or so of heavy use and high stress situations, it becomes uncomfortable. I'd recommend a new pair of insoles that can take a beating and still provide comfort. However, depending on the insole, it can tear up the inside of the boot so be warned! I have extra wide (EEE) sized feet so finding boots that provide a decent fit is difficult. Luckily, S2Vs come with a generous toebox to provide relief for those who have very wide feet like me. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a durable boot that dries fast.

The boots themselves are very comfortable. They come with a great sole, perfect for my feet. Are a little on the heavy side, but very tough boot
