Men's Salewa Ultra Flex Mid GTX Boots Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

So I was looking for a lightweight hiker with a little ankle support and found the Salewa Ultra Flex Mid GTX. I read every review I could find and was a little concerned over the ankle complaint issues. The first day I was able to wear my new boots, I spent the entire day on my feet, standing, walking and shorts runs. This boot was not only the most comfortable Ive worn but also very light and just the right amount of ankle stability for carrying a day pack. No complaints here!

Initially it was a great shoe, good support, waterproof, the works. I went on a 3 week trek and after they had some major issues. The toe became unglued on both feet and tears formed on the outer sides just above the baby toe on each foot allowing water to seap through.
