Prior to me purchasing these particular Boots I already owned a pair of Salomon Boots. They are really comfortable, forgiving, and durable. Today I took these boots out for a "testride" at the range and they held up just nice. I took a chance with these for no one else had put any comments nor did they give a rating for me to go by. However, my experience with this brand did not fail yet. So, I rolled the dice and went with it. Not disappointed at all. I love them! Highly recommend these boots to anyone who wants a reliable pair of boots; the price is a bit much. But, well worth it.

I wore Salomon boots while overseas in Afghanistan and loved them. Now that I'm home I work in Corrections and often work 16 hour shifts walking on concrete floors. These boots pass every test imaginable with flying colors. Laces are quick, easy, and durable. Support is great and feel like sneakers. I had very little to no break in period. I've been wearing these boots 4-5 times a week for the past 4ish months and they still look brand new. The price tag isn't cheap but it's true you get what you pay for. I recommend you pony up for these Salomon boots.

I tried like another 7 different boot manufacturer's and the Salomon are the best boots by far. However, I had to return because I have a flat foot so they bother me at the arch. Too bad!
