Long story short; I wear khaki pants for work. Generally polyester for no need to iron. I buy from dept. stores. My career is in the field, not behind a desk. I often destroy khaki dress pants. Recently, two of my pants had the zippers destroyed. I now don't leave home without a safety pin.

Anyway, I bought these pants while waiting for tailor repairs and love them. They are probably cheaper then my ordinary pants and have so many other pluses. First, they repel water and anything else. They were true to fit for waist and length. They have a comfort waistband that will accommodate slender IWB or shifts in weight without needing new pants. The zipper is YKK and has a button fly. Yay, no more embarrassing zipper issues for me! They have belt loops that work. The main waist closure is a heavy snap - I like it. The front pockets are deep and there are small pockets for a knife or utility tool. I carry both and no longer have to look like batman carrying such things exclusively on my belt. They do have 4 hidden pockets, 2 on each side along the seam but I have yet to use them seriously. The lower ones are smallish to be much use. Best of all, they look like nice business casual pants and I WILL be buying more. Once they go on sale again that is. Oh, and the back pockets are usable! They have extra fabric on one side of each back pocket that expands/ cinches with a small velcro tab. You can quickly access them, tuck the flap inside the pocket and actually use them to put stuff in. I use one pocket for a giant smart phone while walking around. I love these pants.

These are the same great quality, fit, and design as the heavy cotton 24-7 Tactical Pants, which I have been wearing for many years, only without cargo pockets. (Am changing only because I’m a professional pilot and, my new employer says the cargo pockets on my 24-7 Tacticals are a No Go...)
But, these 24-7 Classic Pants are only available in the 65% poly /35% cotton rip stop fabric. This particular material is similar to heavy duty workout pants... it’s a bit odd for this type of pants and takes some getting used to.
I asked True Spec if I could special order the “24-7 Classic Pants” in 100% cotton canvas, same as the “24-7 Tactical Pants” and, was told that they don’t sell enough of the Classic pants to warrant making them available in the 100% cotton fabric. I would suggest that one of the main reasons, if not THE reason, they don’t sell more of the 24-7 Classic Pants is the weird rip stop fabric.
Still in all very good quality pants at a reasonable price point. So, I’m gonna try them out for a while and see how it goes.
If True Spec would produce the pants in their 100% cotton canvas fabric or in a more suitable poly / cotton blend, I would buy them in a heartbeat, no doubt about it!

At work, I’m in and out all day long splitting my time between an office environment and the outdoors. The extra pockets these pants offer are great for my work environment. When I’m off the clock, I like a business casual look that allows me to conceal a firearm and a few other everyday tools. These pants are great for both environments because they don’t have a tactical look. The upper pockets are large and deep. The side pockets aren’t as large and deep, but they will accommodate a wallet or an iPhone. The pants are also very comfortable no matter what I’m doing, and easy to keep clean on the go. The one drawback I’ve noticed is the swooshing noise they make which is very noticeable in an office environment. Before I made my purchase I read other reviews that mentioned the “swoosh”, but I thought “how bad could it be?" The pants I’m replacing with these pants are made of the same material and content, so it must be the waterproofing of these pants that causes them to be noisy. Overall, I’m satisfied with my choice, and I’ll likely purchase more.

These have become my go-to pants for work or more "dressy" events. I work in education so I wanted something with pockets but didn't scream tactical. These pants fit the bill perfectly, the only thing I would change is the front pocket design. I would have loved to see them with the squared off bottom of the front pocket but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I'm so glad they finally released them in coyote as I already own the other colors. The fit, for me, is spot on and they are very comfortable. Whether it's for work or a wedding reception these pants won't let you down.

I probably have 10 pairs of these and I wear them to work every day. I like the flaps on the rear pockets for security. I like the angle of the pockets - my change and keys don't fall out if I lean back in a chair. I'm 6'3" so I used to wear long rise trousers, which are hard to find anymore. These aren't really long rise but the "engineered fit" is close enough. I'm not in law enforcement, I'm an engineer in a technical company. I don't like jeans, which are the "uniform" of most of my coworkers. These let me dress up a step and be easily as comfortable as I would be in jeans. Practical, comfortable, and dressy enough for office wear. What more could you want?

I am semi-retired, working part-time and needed some work pants that were durable, flexible and comfortable. Normally I would choose tactical pants with cargo pockets, etc., but my employers frown on 'cargo pockets', thus the need for the same durability of rip-stop fabric, but not the pockets and low and behold I found them. These are great pants for my needs and the price point (on sale, when purchased) fit my needs, as well. My only criticism is the Velcro on the back pocket flaps -- I just don't care for Velcro, but with this being my only complaint, then there are no real issues here. Very pleased and even purchased a second pair. W>

Nice looking pants with tons of hidden pockets and seems like they will last but my problem with them is the width of the pant legs. Why are they so wide? Almost feel like parachute pants and because of the waterproofing of the material, they "swoosh" when walking which is very noticeable in an indoor/office environment. I was hoping the 35% cotton content would help with the rubbing noise. Hopefully washing them might soften the material but in the meantime, will only use them outdoors or when absolutely necessary.

First, what I don't like about it: the rear pockets have velcro closure flaps. I can't think of a single good reason for that, and they detract from the appearance. Tru-Spec, please consider removing them from future designs! Not to mention, it would cut the cost at the same time.
I like everything else about these. I have three pair, and they are my standard daily wear. They should hold up very well and look good for a long time. Would I buy again and recommend? Absolutely.

I bought my first pair not to long ago and these are the best breathable pants I've had in a long time. Just as the old summer bdu's. I put certain things in the cargo pockets & can't even see anything or the zipper. The other upside they're also great for the professional look without looking tactical, also the stretchable pant strap helps out a lot. I would recommend these to everyone. I already bought a second pair & had a coworker buy a pair.

These pants first and foremost are comfortable and sturdy for all day wear. They also have a clean and fashionable streamline look to achieve a sound professional appearance with a button up shirt.

I am in an industry that has me dealing with convention builds and clients all in the same day. I am able to be comfortable and look professional, without sacrificing my daily preparedness oriented mind.
