I have been wearing these pants for 2+ years now as a member of the Camp Valor Outdoors Shooting Team. They are very durable as well as light-weight. Plenty of room in the crotch and plenty of pockets. And you don't even have to iron them as they always has that permanent crease down the pant leg. I wear them on the range as well as working on the farm and even going out for a dinner with the team. As a Marine for 23 years, I know I good pair of trousers when I see them. I have put TRU-SPEC to the test out in the field and they performed outstanding!
TRU-SPEC is a wonderful company who CARES about our veterans - and specifically our Wounded Veterans as they have sponsored our CVO Shooting Team for the last 2 years. We could have had other pant sponsors but we chose TRU-SPEC because of the great quality pants that they provide and they are a VETERAN FRIENDLY company who gives back to our Veteran community. There is no other pant that I will wear. Keep up the great job TRU-SPEC and THANK YOU for all you do for Camp Valor Outdoors and our Veterans!!!

My first impression was, dang these things are not very soft. Figured that would wash out of them. Then I tried them on and I discovered the extra amount of room in the crotch area. I wish companies that build military action pants would build them to sit on the hips where we wear our military belts. Not way up over our navel button. When I looked into the mirror, I looked like a man trying to wear his pants like a gang banger. I purchased these pants because of a you tube video (2014 shot show) where the gentleman stated that these pants were designed to get rid of the problem that is caused by a material bunch up when the person tries to raise his leg (knee) high in a fast movement. Even in these pants I had to pull on the pants pockets to make the movement quickly and without the pants material binding up the movement. Its also silly to expect pants to be built for individuals with shorter legs. Buying a pair of pants in a 30 inseam when your a 28 places the knee area off by about 1.5 inches. The only real fix for this is to get the pants legs cut off and remove the extra material between the knee area and the pocket and the sewn back together. Now I was hoping that somebody had finally decided to build a pair of pants that were designed correctly for an individual that's life depended on effortless movement. If I pull my pants all the way up to where the need to be for free movement, my belt buckle will be under my armor. Of course my weapons belt buckle is sitting down there where that belt is riding on my hips. These pants are going to be returned as a fail. These pants need a gusseted crotch and to be designed to sit on the individuals hips. The pants also should be designed for shorter individual inseams. It does mater when your life may be on the line. I should not have to have a tailor fix the design flaws to be able to wear them in harms way.

There have been a lot of positive reviews, and that's great for those who found the 24-7 Lightweight Tactical Pants suitable for them. For me, that was not the case.

I ordered four pair, all in different colors. I opened one pair, and found the fit very comfortable. The ONLY problem I had with the pants was the color, and the material.

The OD Green was anything but - it was very bright, not drab at all. The material was shiny as well. ,so much so, that of one were in a nighttime environment where concealment was necessary, if any light hit the pants, you'd be exposed, Not good.

While opinions are like navels, in that everybody has one, this is just an opinion based on my first 24-7 purchase. It's possible this was a bad manufacture run, or that I'm too selective when it comes to this type of clothing. As I said, these were not for me.

I really like everything about these pants. Water beads up, spills wipe right off, dirt does not stick. I wear 32X32 and originally ordered 34X32 for IWB conceal. Unless wearing stealthgear 3 mag IWB pouch with IWB holster they were too big. I ordered the 32X32 and now works perfectly. IWB, paddle or belt carry these are comfortable because of the hidden waist expansion. With or without my weapon the pants fit. My EDC consists of flashlight, 2 knives, money clip, wallet, tactical pen, Galaxy 5 smart phone, notebook, 36"X3/8" dally rope, 3 sets of keys, and at times more, so with the amount of pockets, the placement of the pockets and the design of pockets, the weight distribution is excellent and there are no bulges. They maintain the professional tidy look.

Ordered three pair for a new indoor security gig, been working security for several years and this was my first opportunity to acquire tactical trousers, so far the Tru-Spec seems to be a good choice. Only had them for a couple weeks so I can't say how well they hold up to multiple washes, fading and wears, but I have that wheeling feeling they'll last for many tours in my case. Be sure to laundry them as directed on tag to help reduce color fade.
Plenty of pockets that are well placed for my needs, deep front pockets,. Comfortable fit especially around the waist with the stretch band that gives a bit of expansion when needed for bending or squatting down. 38x30 is my usual jean size and that's what I ordered and the fit is true to size in my case.
I have seen a few reviews that suggest to order up a size then your usual, I'm sure glad I didn't because they would of been too big even with my bit of a beer gut.. :-)
These very well could just be the best damn pants I ever owned....................

Picked up a couple pairs of these pants for work. Ive always been a fan of different tactical pants because I consider myself a man of utility. I like having enough pockets to carry all my normal EDC gear and then some. These pants fit the bill in just about every way. The velcro on the cargo and rear pockets is nice and sturdy, certainly dont feel as though they'll open under any circumstances other than you yourself peel them open. The elastic in the waistband makes for a great comfortable fit, especially for conceal carry. Only complaint i have is the little utility pockets on both of the sides. They're a tad bit small the be useful for any generic purpose. They would be a perfect place to carry a folding knife but my spiderco manix is way to big to fit. Even a bic lighter is a pain to get it if put in there. Perfect size for a little maglight but thats about it. Other than that i love them, will certainly pick up a few more pairs.

I have 6 pairs of these pants - keep buying more in various colors. They are very durable and comfortable and they fit well once you get the right size. They look good, too. Not too baggy in the rear. Lots of pockets for all the things you might need to get through the day.

I am 6'2" and normally wear a 34 x 34. The elastic waste in the 34 x 34 size doesn't begin to stretch on me, so I need a belt. No big deal, I guess, but I found that the 32 x 34 fit much better - The waste stretches slightly and holds the pants up without being too tight. It appears the 32 waste will stretch to 36" of so, maybe more.

Cons:
Lighter colors don't clean up as well after a couple years of casual use - I think the fabric treatment washes out after a while.

Wish that the "cell phone pockets" would accommodate a medium size modern cell phone. These are OK in width but the closing flap needs to be about 3/4" higher and longer to close over my phone, a Motorola G3. They have made these pants for several years and this pocket issue would be easy to fix. I don't know why it hasn't been done yet.

These pants fit well, and re true to size. The waistband is very comfortable. The material is very durable. The pants are cut fuller through the leg, all the way down. The pockets are good, but not quite up to the same standard as the Vertx Phantom Ops pant. The cargo pockets have inner pockets, but they won't hold a cased iPhone X or my wallet. they divide the width of the pocket evenly into 2 areas. Perhaps 70/30 would be better (70% for phone or wallet in the front and a mag sized partition in the rear). The smaller side pockets are super handy. the mid-hip knife/multitool/mag/light pockets are great, maybe even better than the Vertx due to their slightly aft location. The rear pockets are great.
These pants are worn for everyday wear and range trips. I still prefer the Vertx Phantom Ops pants for every day, but only by a small margin. These are cut fuller, so larger folks might like these a bit better.

I am a Professional Firearms Instructor and Glock Armorer. I wear tactical pants everyday. I received an email from TacticalGear.com in regards to a sale that just sounded to good to be true on their 24-7 Series Lightweight Tactical Pants. So I ordered one pair. They arrived extremely quickly. When I removed them from the packaging, I immediately tried them on, leaving all the tags attached just in case. OMG, I fell in love with these pants. Very comfortable and the pockets were awesome and well designed. My phone drops in perfectly without falling over. After just one day wearing these pants, I went back to TacticalGear.com and immediately ordered two more pair, which arrived just as quickly as the first pair. Their sizing is perfect. I probably have ten pairs of tactical pants. The TacticalGear 24-7 Series are the only three pairs that I want to wear on a daily basis. My advice, order one pair of the 24-7 series from TacticalGear.com, and you will see what I mean. Highly Recommend!

These seem like good pants for the money. So far they have held up well. They are decent quality but certainly not the same quality as a pair of 5.11 pants.

There are a few things that I don't like about them(which is more personal preference than a quality issue.) 1. The cargo pockets do not fully open. They are tax stitched on the front of the cargo pocket flap. This allows you access to open the pocket, but not fully open it. This makes getting items into and out of the cargo more difficult.

2. The fly zipper seems a little cheap. It has held up so far and has not given me any issues. It just feels cheap to me.

3. The material the pants are made out of is lightweight and feels kind of thin and corse. They will be nice in the summer time, but not so much during the winter without layering up.

Overall they are a good pair of pants. Would I buy them again....Yes. Would i spend the extra money and buy 5.11 pants over these, probably. Time will tell how they hold up. Time will ultimately tell if i decide to buy another pair....
