Update on earlier review of 24/7 Simply Tactical shorts, to include picture.

Have ordered a few different sizes and colors of 24/7 Simply Tactical shorts. It appears the fabric of the front pocket changes, I earlier said ‘gauzy’ which isn’t accurate, but very ‘thin’ would be..... i compared three lots and there appears a marked difference. I put these shorts in a BOB and the three pairs in the pics have never been washed. The lighter fabric is very thin, the navy and black are close, thicker, but different.

Your 27/7series Lightweight Tactical shorts are the better shorts,than the 24/7 series simply tactical cargo. I love the fit of the 24/7 lightweight Tactical shorts, pockets,slider waist band is lot more comfortable than the simply tactical shorts.I have bought LOTS of tru-spec pants,shorts,and I ordered 2 pair of the simply tactical shorts, they were at my door in 2 days. One pair fits tighter than the other,but there the same shorts. They have a little flex in the waist band. I saw the 24_< series lightweight Tactical on sale, ordered 2 pairs and there great. Both are ok shorts,just a little disadifid with the Simply tactical ones,I give them 7 out of 10, and the lightweight 2r/7 10 out of 10. That's just my feelings of the shorts. You won't go wrong with either ones,but I myself would rather pay just a few dollars more and get the lightweight ones. Lots of pockets, great shorts, I will be buying more,I can't go to the site,and click out before ordering something, and the team are great people. I don't know how many items I've ordered,and haven't had to return ANYTHING. Glad to buy from this site.

The quality of the material is 5/5. The stitching, zipper, button are all 5/5. The fit is a bit tight for what I expected, as I do wear other size 36 khaki shorts from other brands that seem to fit alright, so I give the fit a 3/5 for advertising it to be size 36. I will have to lose some weight to get into them properly. The overall cut of the material doesn't seem very loose to allow much movement so I give the actual fit a 3/5 also. Overall then it gets average of 4/5. If I had ordered a size larger I probably would have been happier right now with a better fit, but it is a motivation to lose some weight, so I guess it's not a bad thing.

Great pair of shorts they fit great comfortable quality craftsmanship cell phone pockets fit the galaxy s8 plus. Also good for concealed carry.

Love the “no Velcro”. Velcro is the worst idea for pocket closure ever thought up. Fits nice but as I have found with just about every manufacturer, the waist size is with the elastic fully expanded. If you wear a size 36 and want some “give” for bending over or the like, you need to order 38, stupid, they should be sized with the elastic fully compressed. Lastly, never, ever should there be a snap waist closure, a button, ok but a rivet is the best.

I bought two pair of these in different colors. Since I'm 5'9" I like having a shorter inseam so the shorts don't go past my knees. These shorts were just long enough. I like the cell phone pockets on each side. The cargo pockets have a tack on the front edge which keeps the front closed. The back pockets are like normal pants (without a flap) which I like. I'm 67 so I like the elastic in the waist too. Nice material and well-made. Good price and you can't find these in stores.

At first I was kinda sketchy about buying shorts I've never tried before. But these are some good shorts. The fit is right on the money. Pockets are deep enough that when I sit down, the stuff in my pocket stays in my pocket. The extra padded part on the front pockets is great for carrying a knife. The small magazine pockets fit my mags just fine. And the elastic on the waist is great for wearing a holster, and still being comfortable. I will be buying more for sure.

This is the BEST pair shorts I've ever bought! It's nice to have somewhere to put everything I carry besides the front 2 pockets, because I don't carry my wallet in my back pocket to prevent back problems. The IPhone 6s fits perfectly in the cell phone pocket which is great because I no longer need to set my phone on my lap at the movies or on the table when I eat out. Also, they very comfortable to wear and after I read other reviews I did get a size bigger they fit me loose which is ok because I’m not a fan of squeezing clothes that looks like trying to fit in my kid clothes.

While the craftsmanship was superb, I found the sizing to be inconsistent with the Tru-Spec light tactical series pants which I wear often. The waste size seemed smaller than on the pants. As well, the length was about 1 1/2" too short. The color was magnificent. Wish they'd have fit better so I wouldn't have had to send them back.

I ordered 2 pair in different colors. They are a great pairs of shorts. Only problem was I ordered the regular shorts. The description does not talk about rear pockets so I called, they said just like the long pants. It did not have the two pockets behind the cargo pocket but had just one pocket behind (4" wide). So I looked at the tag closely and it was the "ST" shorts. I will be keeping the shorts but I think you should show that there are two different shorts like you do in the video.
