This is an interesting shirt. It isn't as good as their pants but this is a good 2nd. There are a lot of features in this shirt that I have yet to understand. I think this would benefit for its casual-formal appearance with buttons instead of the zipper-Velcro.
My first impressions that they just combined features of a jacket and a shirt. The back has a flap for increase range of movement, which is mu biggest problem for nicer shirts since I carry a lot of weight in my chest and back. It looks awkward but it is quite a nice feature. The chest pockets are Velcro and have a pen pocket on the left side. There is an opening on top of both of the pocket flaps for putting pens in.
Beneath that are 2 mesh pockets They're pretty well hidden. My only problem is that the zipper teeth are really fine which is a personal peeve of mine. On the upside all zippers are YKK zippers which have a good reputation associated with them.
Its true about the flap on the inside of the sleeve that helps tie up with a loop on the outside of the sleeve. Both are really discrete. The loop on the outside is fairly unnoticeable. If someone just happens to see it, they might point it out, but that's it. I had to look for the loop inside the sleeve because i couldn't feel it when i first tried it on. It is something I'd thought it would have bugged me, but it dosen't. +1 for tru-spec on that one.
Sewing is top-notch. There is very little excess stitching which is a huge plus for formal wear. While it is not all double stitched, the single stitching is purposeful and top-notched.

The Ultralight weight is too thin of material. It just dont sit correct with agency patches sewn on. The fabric is so thin, its compared to boxer brief like material. Bring the ORIGINAL 6.5oz back. It's more durable and is a higher quality. I had to resort to a different brand to to the discontinued ORIGINAL (6.5 oz.) 24-7 Series Uniform.

Sizing is just as shown on the chart. Now I have one of these shirts in both long sleeve and short sleeve. Really an excellent shirt.

Light durable material. Like the zip up front and pockets. For an xl tall the length of the shirt still ran a little short.
