The combat shirt was developed in the early 2000s to provide optimal comfort, performance and protection to servicemen and women. Today, this phenomenal garment is favored by military personnel, public safety professionals and anyone gearing up for serious missions. TRU-SPEC's Poly/Cotton 1/4 Zip Tactical Response Combat Shirt uses a resilient polyester/cotton fabric. The torso enhances breathability, while the Tactical Response Uniform sleeves protect the arms. A mandarin collar is a quarter-zip with a cover hood for comfort. For additional durability and function, this combat shirt sports reinforced shoulders pockets and elbows, pencil stall and adjustable hook-and-loop cuff. With the TRU-SPEC's Poly/Cotton 1/4 Zip Tactical Response Combat Shirt, you'll be prepared to take on any conditions and environments.

This was my first purchase of a "combat shirt" I have been involved in Swat operations for 14+ years and the traditional BDU's have served me well but was looking for something more breathable. My 2 concerns are the 1/4 zipper does not appear very heavy duty and where the zipper ends at the top of the mandarin collar. It takes a little manipulation to get the 2 corners of the collar to match up right.

Really nice but runs large. I’m 6’3” and the XL long would be my size based on the size chart but the sleeves are very long and there is a lot more body than I need. I suspect a large regular might be more in line with a snug firm fit. As it stands it would be more of an over shirt worn on top of something else.

I bought this for cosplay and was pleasantly surprised at how well it looks. The torso is breathable poly, snug and with a bit of loft. The shoulders, collar, and arms are nylon, with pockets on the bicep that open from the top via pull tabs that velcro down across the top flap. The 1/4 zip has a hood where the zipper ends at the throat. There are 3 pen pockets on the left wrist as well. I wear a 44 R suit and bought a Large and it fits true to size. I haven't worn it long enough nor exposed it to rugged conditions to speak on its durability, but it seems like it'll last fairly well.

I am not into hunting, tactical gear other then for a walk in the woods. However, I ordered this for my grandson & he was very pleased with the product. The fit was just right, the site was very easy to move around & order. Thank you, for making it wash & products of exceptional quality.

Purchased shirt on-line at this website. Was concerned about sizing but reviews all indicated "buy one size smaller than would normally wear". Also, accessed Tru-Spec sizing chart. Fit recommendation was right on. Small fit perfectly (I'm 5'6", 128). Quality is evident: comfortable, fits like glove but not too tight. Shipping process was flawless. Cost may be a concern but quality and fit make it easily worth the money, in my opinion.

There is nothing not to like about this combat shirt. The middle part is very soft under armor plate carriers which adds to length of wearing them. The sleeves are strong and are rip stop material. Pockets are big enough for extra mags if need be. Great Velcro on sleeves too. Colors are excellently blended. Very comfortable and true to size if not a little bit bigger but I am ok with that. Don’t hesitate buy one you will see....

I'm 6ft 2in 200 lb

I ordered the large long and it fits great the arms are long enough even for me and the Torso is long enough as well.

I thought the arms were going to be pretty uncomfortable because of the material but I wore them for 6 hours while playing Airsoft and it's pretty comfortable the size of the arms however was very large.

I think the Tru Spec line is the best uniform I've had yet. I'm in law enforcement and I have this shirt, the winter shirt, and the summer short sleeve shirts along with the BDU pants and I love them. This shirt is great for spring and fall where it's not very hot yet and not freezing cold. Very lightweight and great range of motion.

Best combat shirt. Good for training. Well made. My only criticism is that the pen stalls on the sleeve are not big enough to hold a thicker pen (even a slightly thicker pen). I have three of these shirts including the heavier cold weather version and I like them but all have the small pen stalls. Recommended.

I like the quarter zip as opposed to without they just seem to be better. The pattern and fabric are durable in the right places and soft in the other.
The only down fall is that the color fades quickly, that goes for all Tru-Spec combat shits since I have several.
Overall it's a great buy. Thanks.
