The Under Armour HOVR Dawn is a mid-height waterproof tactical boot with the soul of an athletic shoe, featuring the innovative UA HOVR cushioning comfort system. Consisting of three-layers of material including specially engineered HOVR foam wrapped in responsive EnergyWeb and reinforced with durable, lightweight rubber, UA HOVR technology immediately absorbs the impact from every footfall and returns back to the foot in the form of energy. This means that you can say goodbye to the clunky, obtrusive boots you're currently sporting and start stepping in something that keeps you wickedly comfortable and agile throughout the duration of your mission. The upper portion of this tactical boot consists of tough synthetic leather, and is supplemented by a welded forefoot overlay for added protection and abrasion-resistance when trekking over backcountry terrain. Should you have to wade through a body of water when tracking prey, you can feel confident that your feet will remain dry in every sense of the word thanks to a UA Storm waterproof breathable membrane that locks water out while allowing moisture to escape. Beneath your feet, a pair of high-traction rubber outsole offer excellent grip on a variety surfaces.

In normally wear sneakers and hate the feeling of boots. The soles in this boot are shakes like running sneakers and the arches are high which is great for me. It might be slight strange for people
Who normally wear flat soled shoes or sneakers but I couldn’t be happier with the way these feel. Very comfortable for a boot. Only took 1/2 star off be Cac use of the lack of lace eyelettes. Not sure how long or how strong they are without them. Great product

I've been using the boot for deer, quail and chucker hunting in California. I've probably hiked about 20 miles in them so far. Very comfortable right out of the box.
