The Under Armour Infil Ops GTW is a rugged tactical boot designed to handle any mission on any terrain. Built with a waterproof leather and high-abrasion textile upper, this versatile boot is ideal for urban infiltration missions or treks over rocky terrain. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane keeps moisture out, while promoting a breathable interior to prevent overheating. The thermoplastic polyurethane stability chassis provides critical support, and the molded rubber toe cap offers additional protection from environmental hazards. In terms of comfort, the full-length EVA midsole delivers consistent cushioning through the heel and forefoot, while a wishbone thermoplastic polyurethane plate provides extra arch support when traversing rugged surfaces. The Vibram outsole maintains traction no matter how challenging the trek, and an Anafoam overlay ensures that perfect, molded fit. Wherever your mission takes you, this Under Armour boot keeps you safe the whole way.

I was just looking for a waterproof comfortable high top boot. I don’t have any longevity reports yet because I haven’t worn them but for a couple weeks but I did want to chime in on sizing reviews that I used to pick my size.
Before I go there, so far the boots fit great, they feel great, they could use some insoles but I feel like the insoles are nothing different then any other boot or shoe you would buy with regular insoles so I didn’t expect a high dollar insole to be included. Plus I like to buy my own anyways.
They tie up good, no problems with them coming loose and everyone wants a zipper but lacing them up is not that hard to do with these. The hooks actually hold the lace while moving onto the next hooks, so they keep their tightness without pulling on the laces through the full lace up. So far no water problems, I do landscaping, wet grass, wet mornings, in the rain and only had on a few days that were wet and no problems. Only time will tell on how long they will actually hold up? We will see. Now back to the big question on the size choice. I’m a size 8 in everything. After doing the review research, a size up is recommended by a lot and I can see that when you first put them on. I did go with an 8.5 and they fit fine and after wearing a couple days, I could see how if I had some patience on wearing them in an 8. That I would probably have been fine going with my regular 8 size.
My conclusion is if you don’t mind a perfect fit on try on and maybe a little bit more room for movement upon breaking in then I would go with a half size up. But if your like some who like a snug perfect boot, I think you could get away with just going with your normal size and wear them around your house for a few days to see if you get that room. I’m pretty sure if I had both sizes at my house and put in a few days, I would have probably picked my normal size but I picked the half size up to be totally sure they would fit. It was the right call being I don’t have the money to order both sizes and don’t have the patience to wait on returns.
If I had that patience I would have tried my normal size first and returned if they didn’t break in to that little bit that would be needed.
But I have to say with the half size up that they fit perfect upon putting them on and they didn’t loosen up so much that I’m dissapointed or uncomfortable wearing them. I think you could go both ways.

Over the past 18 years I have owned a lot of different brands. This is by far the best boot I have ever owned. Light, waterproof, enough room in the toe area, stable, great cushion, secure. I was a little hesitant at first, due to the price, but it has been well worth it. Fit is true to size. I have mainly experienced them at a fast walk and have only run in them a little. Seems very comfortable and stable while running.
A buddy said he did not like that the boot does not have a side zipper. I am not a fan of the zipper as it interferes with a good fit around the ankle, IMHO.
You will not be disappointed in this shoe.

Best review here for these boots: Great Boot!
I have had experience with boots for a good 30 years, from Danners, Vasque, Aku Mountain Boots, Merrel, and so many others inbetween. I am a retired firefighter and went through many boots there, love hiking, adventuring, hunting and the list goes on. I am telling you this so you know that I have experience with boots.
First, as soon as you put them on, they feel a 1/2 size too small. The first few minutes, I thought, crap, I have to get a 1/2 size up. But, like I have done with all my past new boots, I wore them in the house and stretched them out like crazy, bending my foot, ankle, toes, every which way, folding the boot in half many times.
Within 30 minutes it was a different boot. I no longer needed a size up as it broke in and felt great. NOTE: So I do wear a thinner sock. My feet are always hot. So if you like thick socks then get a 1/2 size up. I wear 11.5 in Vasque, 12 in Merrel, 11 in Aku and 11.5 in UA.
Enjoy!

Great boots...no break in period needed. Very comfortable, nice and light feeling. Just wish I had these boots when I was in Long Range Surveillance and as a Sniper!
Size-I own a pair of the black under armour fat tire and they ran a 1/2 size to small....so I added this info and to one thread where someone mentioned that these ran a little tight...So I bought 12's when I wear 11 1/2's...that guy was wrong.....""These boots: Under Armour Infil Ops GTX, are right on for their actual size & fit!""...I know because I have been wearing boots as a Ranger in the US Army for 22yrs!
I am kind of reminded of ole Jungle boots! Only these are very high tech, don't need to wear Gortex water proof booties inside when it really wet and cold outside and don't need to be resoled! Even though I got these a half size to big, I'm not sweating it because Ill be wearing thick winter socks in Alaska so it worked out. But right now they still feel good on my feet. You will like these boots! I do!!!

I was reluctant due to price but these boots are amazing. I've had these boots for a year and a half in northern Montana and they are comfortable in the summer and decent in the winter. Under Armour's have always been comfortable but wear out too soon, these boots have lasted a year and a half and are just now starting to wear out. The price is a bit high but worth every penny. Great cushion for the heel, great tread even for harsh winter conditions, and almost no break-in period. I highly recommend these boots. Sadly, the price will most likely deter most from buying it.

I have tried a lot of boots between the military and being in corrections and I have to say, I am really impressed with this boot! Nothing bad I can really say. Waterproof, vibram soles, lightweight, and comfortable. So far, I've had them 6 months so far and they are holding up just fine. I have recommended this boot to many people.

Love these boots on my second pair. Only issue is that after a year and a half the top of the boot starts to fade and turn a purplish from the sun when doing details. But they are still the most comfortable and light boot on the market. Love them.
