Tried 3 versions of these Vertx pants, all in black, while in search of the ultimate tactical pants. The 98% cotton type (VTX1000LBK) fits well (sizes are spot on) but fades more and more after washing. The 65% polyester lightweight version (VTX8000LBK) does not fade, but is designed for a slim athletic person (too tight around the buttocks for me, 6', 230 lbs, not muscle). This version (being rated VTX8600BK ) is 65% polyester, fit me perfectly, and does not fade, so this is the Goldilocks version for me. Design of all 3 is the same and the top front pockets fit a full size Glock 17 or 22 in a pocket holster, but they look more like dress pants than cargo pants. I basically am converting to these for all uses (work and not) as my other pants wear out. Worth the money. They last forever (even the 98% cotton type, while faded, all stitching is still in tact).

Fit. Durability. Utility. High-grade materials. Feels like military ordinance. After my first pair, I never wear anything else.♨️♨️♨️

I am a huge fan of 5.11 Tactical pants and ordered a pair of these. These pants are very well made and fit extremely well and fit just as well as the 5.11. I ordered a size bigger than I normally wear since I am a concealed carry and even with my pistol these pants still fit great. I love the style and the expanding waist. These pants are very true to size. You cannot tell that these are tactical pants and I like that. You do not draw attention when wearing these pants. I loved the zippered inside pocket to store my cash and anything else I may want. These pants will take a beating and after washing look just like new again (IMHO). Go ahead and try a pair and you will be hooked. Be aware that these pants are very popular and it might take a few weeks to receive as every time I order they are on BO. But these pants are worth the wait!

Now while I don't use these in a tactical environment, these pants are hands down the most comfortable pants I own. I knew after retiring from the military and got to ask office job that normal slacks just weren't going to cut it. Thank God my office is business casual so I have one set for each day. These are just like wearing ACU pants, only more durable and stylish. Plenty of pockets for my EDC gear. The hidden pockets rock and the hidden ones in the cargo pockets are perfect for a cellphone. I have every color and the Navy seem to be the ones that best for around my ample waist out it just seems like all the other colors are just a tad tighter around the waist but they still look and feel great. Every time there is a sale, I buy more and more. The waist does not stretch as much as my 5.11's but in my size they fit great. I like that they are more roomier in the thigh and ass, just like ACU pants, for me anyway.

I love these pants and I cannot say enough good things about them. I have purchased around 10 over the last 3 years and they still look like new. I love that they are stain free and the fit of these pants. II wear these to the office every day. You would never know they are a tactical pant. The thigh pockets blend in and you have plenty of room for a couple of AR15 mags or whatever else you might need. The waist band does stretch a little and this allows me to carry my XDS 9MM without issues or bulging. These pants last and last and mine have not yet begun to fade like other pants I own. If you are looking for a great good looking tactical pant then buy this. I doubt you will be disappointed.

The sizing is way off. The size that I "normally" wear in men's pants isn't even close to fitting. I had to size up approximately 2 sizes just so I wouldn't get wedgies. I know, embarrassing and definitely not the most appropriate for working in a correctional setting. To go with that, the amount of material for the butt, waist and belt line is not enough to house a female's figure especially curvy. I hate leaving bad reviews, I'm not trying to be a jerk, it's just frustrating having pants for work that cause so much discomfort and they're the uniform!

These pants seem to run a little small in the waist, I wear a 34 in most pants and even the 35 is a little snug in these, could probably get away with a 36. I like the slim design with streamline pockets. I would guess a heavier build guy might not like these pants as much.

This pant has been authorized by my Sheriff for primary uniform duty wear and is highly mission capable. I recommend them for duty as well as casual soft uniform wear.

If you've got bigger thighs and need a roomier cut, these pants are for you. I could never get a cargo/tactical pant to fit with enough room in the hip/groin area without being huge in the waste. These fit so well I never wear jeans because these are EXTREMELY durable and still breathable for when it gets hot out. I wear these in the oilfield and they've held up really well.

Overall fit and feel is nice. The material is thick and heavy. Pockets are well-made and thought out. The biggest drawback is that the material is a lint magnet, which is a big drawback compared to other tactical pants I own. Not sure I would buy them again as the market for this kind of product is pretty intense, but I am excited to see how well they wear over time.
