Forget what you know about conventional tactical gloves and meet the next. Defined by its low-profile silhouette, the Operatus virtually eliminates trigger housing interference issues, allowing incredible hand-feel and dexterity. The Coolskin palm provides superior grip, while still allowing critical moisture transfer. The backhand features our proprietary tactical seaming allowing the chassis to conform to the varied planes of shooters hand. Additionally, the thumb valley is comprised of DigiHide goatskin for reinforcement from handgun slides.

I've had these for about a year. The touchscreen pads on index finger and thumb are just about completely gone, they begin to peel or flake after a while. The fingers fit tight, which is good and they fit tight to hand in general, but in a good way. The stitching is a little scattered, it has not come undone, but it's not lined up the same for each glove. (On one finger I have to twist it for the palm part to be on my finger correctly or it wants to stay up towards the side of my finger. The grip on palm is adequate, but the palm has perforations so expect water to come through if you grab a wet object. I prefer palms with solid leather. Dexterity is pretty good, much better than their LEO gloves. I alternate between these, under armour TAC 2.0 gloves and mechanix recons (recons are the best ever IMO) so for a year of use, I'd say they're pretty much good to go, except those pads on the finger and thumb, those are going to flake off pretty quickly. Nice and thin when put together, so they go in a pocket easily with little bulk. These gloves should serve you well, this is my experience in a year.

I am writing this review after 3 shifts with constant use of these gloves. Keep in mind during these shift the call volume was way down so the stress on these gloves was not that great. During those shifts, approximately 500 miles driven ( gloves worn 50% of the time,)14 traffic stops, 3 minor traffic accidents, and 2 arrests without incident.
I had a Lt. tell me once to end on a positive note so I'll start at the bottom...

THE UGLY: The right hand glove on day 2 when I was using the pull tab to put the gloves on I heard what sounded like seams breaking. Sure enough the finishing trim at the wrist had popped causing a 3in piece of the trim to come free.

THE BAD: Let me preface this part by saying I could care less but some might find it important. On day 1 of use the magic phone rubber on the index of the left glove became loose and over my shift on day 2 it tore off. This part of the glove does nothing for me as I have never been a fan of using my phone with gloves.

THE GOOD: Yes there is some good in this glove, the fit is great and are comfortable to wear the entire shift. The padding on the knuckles is light enough you don't notice. The HUGE tag that I was tempted to cut out actually doesn't bother me and I fear if I had cut it off the edges may have caused issues.
I really wish these would have lasted more than 3 days but I'm afraid not so much.

The fit and finish of this glove is fantastic, it fits like a second skin. Provides a grip similar to your own skin, and provides protection, all while being lightweight. I use these for cool weather shooting, AR, bolt gun, handgun and shotgun, and have never noticed the gloves, which means they don't bind, catch, or interfere in any way when operating/manipulating weapons, and they provide enough tactile feedback you can use them successfully with a precision rifle. I like them so much, I bought two more pair.

These gloves fit around the fingers better than an other glove. They pinch the material around the middle knuckle in so they are more of a tight to skin feel. Doesn't feel like I am wearing mittens around each finger.

I know its supposed to be skin tight but .... if have meat on your hands, this is not for you. I have tried with these and others brands, if you have muscular hands,no brand offered can help you here.

These are great, good grip on palms and fit nice and tight on fingers, allowing for great dexterity. I'm not crazy about the pad on index for the touch screen, as it seems like and after thought, but it doesn't affect the performance. I wear a large, I'm 6'2" and my hand is 8" from tip of mid finger to base of my palm/ start of my wrist. I recommend these for any LEO or corrections officer. Next I'll be trying the viktos LEO glove.
