- the bottle opener only works with the blade out
- when the blade is out, there is potential for your bottom finger to slip into the bottle opener, but only small hands will have this issue
- the clip is very tight, with very little give. I had to forcefully bend it out a bit so it could be clipped/unclipped to my (sorta-thick) belt. It does hold very nicely to a single layer of fabric, like jeans pockets or MOLLE or whatever.
- the handle/grip isn’t the most ergonomic thing in the world. The texturing ensures a solid grip but it doesn’t fill out the hand like some other handles might
- I use this as a utility/EDC blade, and when I’ve used it to open boxes the inside of the handle sometimes collects bits of cardboard and/or tape, and can be difficult to pick out.
- on literally my first real-world use of the knife, it slipped out of my hand (my fault) and fell about 8” onto a smooth concrete floor, directly onto the tip of the blade. The tip now has a (semi)permanent burr. Obviously this was my own darn fault and a professional could probably fix the burr, but it really wasn’t a big drop at all.
- the red coloring of the handle is a coating/treatment, and when scuffed reveals the natural aluminum beneath (which I think will wear nicely, creating a rugged, custom look)
All in all, it’s a great blade for the price. I’ll likely carry this every day going forward until the clip fails and I lose it (doesn’t seem likely, haven’t noticed any loosening of any rivets or screws) or I’m gifted a nicer knife. I’m already planning on purchasing a few of these for gifts, cuz the bottom line is; it’s a pretty sweet knife.

On the subject of the bottle opener, I believe this is a major oversight and potential danger for the user.
The slightly rounded edge for the bottle opener and the depth of the blades spine, make it nearly impossible to use while the knife is closed. The only way to get the opener to grasp onto a bottle cap securely is to have the knife open, which could lead to catastrophic results for the end user. Especially since the handle is so small and becomes even smaller in order to use the bottle opener. The user risks accidentally grabbing the blade or risks accidentally stabbing themselves in the arm.
If you have no intention on using the bottle opener, the knife is ok.

But there are also cons to this knife. One being the sharpness out of the box. When I buy a knife, I want it to be sharp. I did the paper test and it ripped the paper instead of cut. Another thing is the serrations, minor issue, but still an issue. They aren't very useful. It doesn't cut wood very well and gets in the way of choking up on the blade to do finer work. One other thing (minor issue) is the color. I chose the orange camo thinking it was a softer orange (like the stars for the reviews) but it is a bright hunter's orange. Personal preference, but, not what I would've liked.
Over all, love the knife, just would like the sharpness thing taken care of.
