I bought this bag a few weeks ago. Shipping was prompt. The bag arrived exactly as described. The entire process went smoothly. Excellent company. I would recommend militarygear.com to a friend.
The Oakley Kitchen Sink Backpack was a great buy in my opinion. I already used it on a two day business trip earlier this week. I was able to pack everything I needed into this one bag; everything from my laptop, to gym cloths, to toothbrush and shaving cream. Literally everything I needed for a two day trip. It was heavy, yet still comfortable to wear. The straps are curved in a way I have never seen before to fit users owners body perfectly. The back is padded as well as the straps. The waste strap is removable and I had taken it off; I bet that it would have been even more comfortable if I had I put it back on.
All the zippers and straps were sewn perfectly with what I see so far to be the highest quality components.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. It is a perfect example of the saying "you get what you pay for." I'm sure I will be getting many years of use out of this backpack before I ever have to spend a dime on another one.

This backpack is beautiful and well built, there is no question about it. One of the reasons I bought it was so that I could carry an 18" laptop, a 15" laptop, plus an iPad, and all accessories for these devices. It does that wonderfully, but it does end up being pretty heavy. With the belt and chest strap that ends up being a non-issue as it distributes the load very well.

The drawback to this pack is that it's not easy to get to things and so I have some issues with parts of the design. First, I think the zippers on the side pockets should unzip from the top, not the bottom. The way they are it makes it difficult to get things out of the pocket one handed without everything dumping on the floor.

The outer back pocket cannot be reached without undoing the giant clips either, so there is no easy way to reach around and get things out without removing the pack. The pocket itself is well designed however with compartments for common items.

I'm keeping this backpack mostly because it looks cool and it can hold a ton of stuff. This one makes up for inconvenience with appearance.

Oakley bags are top notch, I still have my original bag from 2 years ago and it still holds up compared to the other bags I’ve had in the past. The stitching on the Oakley bags are incredible. They hold up some pretty good weight and take a beating and are still not been able to rip. Bags are expensive, but worth the money, but if you want a back pack that lasts you for a very long time. Then I recommend this product to anyone!

I love this backpack! Everything fits. There are many compartments. Unlike my old backpack, a Targus, everything gets strapped in with this backpack. My belongings are not flying around, which is better for my electronics. This backpack has individual places for a phone, wallet, pens, MP3 player, my lunch, a water bottle, a camera, umbrella, keys, my computer (18" Alienware), and more. It's waterproof (some areas) and sturdy. The metal, leather, and straps make this by far the sturdiest backpack I have owned. Finally, there are multiple straps. This was a little difficult to get just right, but I have it down now. Everything feels great for my 4 ten-minute walks through campus each day and when I travel. Oh, BTW, I get comments everywhere I use this thing. People are pretty impressed when they see it, which I think is kinda' fantastic!

Absolutely love this thing. It can literally fit the whole kitchen sink. Great for stuffing my laptop and books with hardly any feeling of the bag being heavy. The weight distribution of the bag is flawless. Just yesterday packed the whole thing with my entire lunch box full of paints, paper towels, illustration boards, and water. Had no problem walking with it. The only gripe is the way in which everything zips open. All the zippers are situated to zip down so it can be awkward opening and closing, but this makes it a lot more secure than traditional backpacks. The side zipper for the laptop is super convenient also.

I love this backpack. My husband and I ride motorcycles, it holds everything. When we hike it has so many compartments that hold everything, and the silver brackets on the front hold every key alive. I have even attached my water bottle for easy access. It holds so much that I put my clothes in for the next day so its the only thing I need to bring in the hotel at night. It does a great job protecting my cell phone on top!! Men, buy it for women. Women just buy it, especially if you love compartments. I would recommend it to everyone.

This pack is perfect for what I need it for. I do enjoy shooting pistols and this pack suits me great. Has plenty of room for gear and don't worry about scratching expensive items up due to the ruggedness. I would recommend this back pack to anyone!

Rugged is an understatement! Excellent for what I use it for. Plenty of room and outside pockets are readily accessible. I suggest extra material around the bottom of each of the side straps to hold water bottles so they don't slide down and out!

Purchased it for my son for college. He said it works great and when it rains, usually quite a bit, everything stays dry.
