RCH – Rigid Concealment Holster Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

I recently purchased a RCH for my Glock 22 at Adele Outfitters in Adele, GA. Initially the fit was very tight, but after following the break-in instructions; it fits like a glove! This holster makes carrying a concealed full-size Glock all day much easier. Most of my wardrobe consists of jeans or shorts and golf shirts. It’s too hot here in the deep south for cover garments most of the year. I prefer the large frame over a compact or subcompact weapon; but until now, I couldn’t find a comfortable CCW option with the full-size Glock.

Purchased the RCH for my Sig P225 P6. Initial inspection revealed an extremely stout, finely crafted, beautiful leather holster. Attempted to holster my pistol and initially thought there was no way it would fit. Thanks to Tony in Customer Service for confirming it would fit and to keep working at it. Well, after hours of pushing, twisting and pulling on the holster and pistol and wrapping the gun in a plastic bag and jamming it in, I left it overnight. The next day, it finally fit! Now, to wear it and evaluate for comfort and function. I’m pleased to report that comfort is exceptional. Despite the very thick leather surrounding the gun, it practically disappears when I wear it at the 2 O’Clock position. I wish it were a little thinner because it would provide a deeper level of concealment. The leather is so thick that it borders on overkill. I considered returning the holster because of the extremely tight fit and overall bulk, but after wearing it for 2 days it has become a part of me. The leather has form fitted to the pistol and my body like I never expected. Retention is firm, but allows for a quick, deliberate draw.
