The Safariland ALS Low Signature Holster uses an innovative design to provide secure storage of your firearm. Part of the Automatic Locking System (ALS) series of holsters, this product secures the weapon from all angles once re-holstered and uses simple thumb deactivation so that you won't need to put your fingers near the trigger when drawing your firearm. The Cordura nylon-wrap greatly reduces Infrared Signature, while the SafariLaminate thermal-molded construction uses suede lining to help protect your firearm's finish. This holster is made with a compact profile that rides close to the body and conceals easily. With an efficient draw and reliable retention, this holster is excellent for concealed carrying.

I have a 7ts holster from safariland I’ve used for months but it left a small amount of wiggle with the m9 and the holster, this not only put an end to it, it works 100x better. After adding the QLS system since I’m running a mid drop it became an absolute perfect set-up for any serious shooter of whatever flavor handgun they have, M9a3 in my case, or otherwise.

So first off this product did not work out of the box, when I first placed my service pistol into the holster it would not come out. A+ on retention. It did not come out no matter how hard anyone engaged the thumb release or pulled on the pistol. After about 10 minutes of awkward struggle in the arms room I fully disassembled the holster and removed the handgun. Filing down the latches on the ALS that retain the pistol was absolutely required for it to function properly. It was disappointing that a holster specifically built for an M9 did not work as it should have. Once I filed it down it worked great.

First off customer service was beyond great. Shipping to my APO-AE was an issue, no easy way to really put the address in for deployed joe address. I contacted CS and the she immediately saw the issue and fixed it for me to make sure i got my gear. KUDOS!!! A 1scale-the rating scale. Pulled my OCP holster out of the box, very please. unloaded my weapon and placed it in, tried engaging the tab to release the gun...huge struggle...after some time I called my buddy over, he could not do it. Finally, after really gripping and pulling and a few curse words and embarrassment (small group of joes arrived to see the show) i got the weapon removed. WTH why so hard, i then found the tension screw and loosened it so much I thought it was gonna fall out. The weapon retention was still tight...which is a good thing but no so tight that the I have to struggle. Then i noticed it had a fork lime clip on the back, i didn't see that in the description (I'll loom again though) and there is no belt loop on it either. So now I have to buy an entire accessory for it. I attached an old paddle from an old paddle holster and it works great now, well retention is still tight!!!!

I have been using this product for a couple of months now with my service M9. When I first used the product, like many others here, I couldn't get the pistol out. After finally getting it out, I realized that the retention forks were too large, so I filed them down with my multi tool and it has been great ever since. I am disappointed that I had to modify the product though.

These holsters will be very hard to draw from the first few days, the fit will seem too tight, but it's not. The gun will need to sit in the holster to wear in the liner and after a few days on the range it will fit like a glove. This holster will Fit both the Glock 17 and 19 but the 17 will hang through of the bottom of the holster a small bit.

This holster only comes with a QLS Fork, which means, in order to use it, you also need to buy a QLS Receiver and a UBL belt loop (cost about $40). What I bought is a UBL & QLS set, I paid $5 more so it would be in FDE.

Ordered for a Sig P226. Doesn't fit. Could be a user problem. I am still working on it to see if I am misunderstanding instructions, but if it doesn't fit my pistol after checking and rechecking.... We will see.

I run this on my battle belt, removed the quick change plate and permanently fixed it to a drop mount. Great fit to my G23 and matches well with the multicam on the rest of my kit.

Got one first for my Glock. Rides nice on a mid profile belt rig. Stays just below the bottom of my PC. Customer service folks really are great folks to deal with.
