Streamlight's ultra-light ProTac 1AAA compact personal flashlight is fully programmable and customizable. Although its small size may appear deceiving, C4 LED technology produces a 115-lumen beam of light that can be seen at 60 meters. There are three programs, for three distinct beam output levels, each of which consumes a lower amount of battery power. The push-button tail switch makes one-handed operation simple and the removable pocket clip and adjustable lanyard ensure easy carry. Durable, anodized aluminum comprises the frame and the light is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. At just under 4" in length, it can easily fit into your pocket or vest, and comes with a tear-resistant nylon holster.

For a little light, about the size of a "pinky" finger, it is very bright. Like most guys, i love bright flashlights. This is very bright and long running on one AAA battery. I have a Protac HL 600 lumen, which is great and has been my go to for searching. This AAA is on me all day and is much easier to carry. Also perfect for lightening my backpack when hiking. Buying two more, one for wife's purse and one for 81 year old dad and 80 year old mom, who travel all over the world.

You can pay a lot more for a small, relatively strong flashlight that easily tucks into a pocket, but why? This Streamlight product weighs almost nothing and runs on a single, inexpensive and easy to find AAA battery. The only potential downside is it is so tiny that for those with big hands holding on might be a problem when trying to activate the end cap switch.

Good light, all the features of the larger lights in a small package. Must have the triple A lithium battery for decent run time. Only 30 min run time on standard triple A versus 2hrs 30mins with the lithium.

Regular industrial grade batteries provided at work last a long time. I can only imagine how the premium batteries would do. I work night shift on the flight line.
Excellent lighting in all three modes and so far has held up to the chemicals associated with aircraft maintenance.

I was kinda shocked when I got this "little" light. It's TINY ! Being so small makes it easy to put in ANY pocket including a breast pocket on a shirt. A bit too small for me... But perfect for Mini Me or Tattoo on Fantasy Island.
