The light secures very well to my Daniel Defense 7.0 Omega rail and the selector on the light works great. Overall, the light has a very solid feel and although I have not had a chance to go to the range yet, I have no doubt that the light will function and perform flawlessly.

I ordered the Streamlight TLR-1 HL because of several very good reviews, the price is about half that of the SureFire and the new HL model has high lumens.
I found that the rocker switch on the Streamlight is easier to use than the Surefire and the strobe is nice. Both lights have great beams, brightness and spread. IMHO the Streamlight is a much better value.
I liked it so much that I ordered my second Streamlight TLR-1 HL to put on the rail of my HD and night time critter rifle.

An absolutely fantastic value when you consider that it's only $30.00 more than the Glock tactical light. I was so impressed that I bought a second one a week after the first one was delivered.
Note: Keep a quarter handy. You'll want to use it to tighten the adjustment screw on the side.

It was easy to mount on my SG's magazine tube and is easy to activate.
It puts out a surprising amount of light for such a small device.
I haven't had the opportunity to test the light when firing my SG, but again, the gun is for home defense and not night target practice.
