I was looking for a small powerful spotlight for use on my boat and this one is almost perfect. 210 lumen does not sound very impressive for a spotlight but the reflector is very deep and the resulting beam is very tight, very bright and has an amazingly long throw. (Streamlight claims a distance of over 2000 feet.) On high power it does a great job picking out boats at the far end of the mooring field and lighting up channel markers from hundreds of yards away. The low power beam is about as bright as a normal 3 cell flashlight.

The negatives I have found are:
1) It uses C cell batteries which are an extra type to store on the boat.
2) This light really should have a medium power setting because of the over 10X difference between the stun and vaporize settings.
3) Almost everyone who sees it wants to play with it.

I have always carried larger lights while hunting, I go in and come out in the dark. I use a 4 cell Maglight, this is the back up and last weekend it worked great, hunting for a friend, he had a minimag, great light but not to get in and out of the woods. He could see me a long ways off and came my way.

I do a lot of Bowhunting and the Waypoint is an excellent tracking light. It will light up the immediate area in front of you and a SUPER bright spot beam to see far ahead. It is compact, super bright and has a long running time which is very important to me. 8.5 hrs on high, 120 on low and a strobe!!! I like the pistol grip, constant on trigger and wrist strap also. When not in the field I keep my Waypoint in my truck as an emergency light. I would consider this light 'standard equipment' for anyone, not just the outdoors person.

VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED. I WAS GOING ABOUT 35mph WHEN MY LIGHT FELL OFF MY ATV ONTO THE PAVEMENT.IT FLIPPED LIKE A FOOTBALL. A COUPLE SCRATCHES, BUT STILL WORK PERFECT. I MAINLY USE IT HUNTING, ON HIGH, THE BATTERIES LASTED ALMOST 11 MONTHS. [DURACELL]

This light is awesome! It is small, but still has a heavy, durable feel to it. The end of the light and the handle is rubberized, which adds more durability to it. The light is very bright. It throws an incredible spot for its size, but it also throws a flood around the spot for great peripheral lighting. I bought this mainly for running trotlines in the river. Have not used it yet for that, but I have no doubt it will do its job. I was impressed before I even turned the light on. When I took it out of the box and held it, it just had that feel of quality about it. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good spotlight.

The light is exactly what we wanted and needed. It gives the light we need to check for coyotes in our neighborhood when walking our dogs.

Smaller than I thought it would be but that was a plus to me. Puts out great light and very happy with my choice. Service was great too.

Three way power switch allows you to leave the light in full power mode, low power or strobe. Excellent long range beam with good side to side lighting as well. Strobe function would act as good self defense option or surely get someone's attention!

This is a great, compact, ergonomic spotlight that you won't want to set down. Amazing light output for its size and price.

This is a perfect spotlight. Well made and powerful. My only wish would be that someone make a spotlight that had a "flood" adjustment. This would allow the light to be even more useful. Some times the spot is not what I need and I have to put up with it rather than carry a second wider beam flood light.
