TG Black Dog Tags give an unmistakably sleek and stealthy look to your kit. Made with the same machines the U.S. Army uses, these tags are made to military-grade standards. Rumor has it that black dog tags are used by special ops forces, including Army Rangers, Navy Seals, Green Berets, Commandos, and Delta Forces. It’s said they were developed to aid in nighttime concealment during Vietnam, but formal documentation is nowhere to be found. With a background so steeped in mystery, it’s unlikely we’ll never know their true history. These tags are embossed at our warehouse, and may add an additional day of processing to your order. Everything else I ordered was sold metal, felt tough and gave the feeling of longevity. This item, not so much. Letters paint chipped off day 1. Within first week, the chain was half black half silver. The medal holding the chain together put an orange ring around neck when sweating. Love design and look... wish it were more durable

The color comes off of the chain, after just a few days. Also, not as durable as my issue, chain, or tags. I wear them constantly, as always, and they just don't hold up. I ordered them, so I'll have to eat this one. It's the only thing, I've ever ordered, from this company, that was not 5 star.

Used this to add one tag from an Officer of mine killed in line of duty in October. It stays close to my heart every day. I dont wear jewelry but these are great and fit very well, dont even know they are there

Love the look of the black. The black on the necklace does flake off pretty quick but the tags stays black. If a deeper black comes along I'd love some triple black coloring. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
