The TRU-SPEC flight suit was inspired by the design of U.S. Flyers 27-P coveralls and is ideal for both flight and ground crews. This Mil-Spec garment features a 7-pocket design with a 2-way front zipper for easy on-off functionality. With plenty of room to keep equipment on your person, the pocket configuration includes two chest pockets, two waist pockets, two extra-large calf pockets and a vertical zip pocket with bellowed pen/pencil slots. Built from a 65% polyester / 35% cotton twill fabric, it offers the job-specific characteristics of a genuine military flight suit without a fire-retardant or nomex material.

I truly like the design of this flight suit. I really wanted to order one in every color but thought I should try one first, just in case something weren't quite right. Glad I did. Your, Large and Long (tall) size states a 36 to 37 inch sleeve. I have a 34 to 35 but figured I could live with the extra. Well much to my chagrin… I doubt it is even a 32. I have narrow shoulders so the seam hangs down my arm to begin with, which I am used to. However, even with gloves that run up my wrists a good 2 inches or so, the flight suit still allowed a space of about an inch or so on my wrist to get sunburned while flying in the helicopter. It drove me crazy trying to pull it down the whole 3 hours I have to fly at a time. Avoiding sunburnt skin was my whole reason for purchasing this in the first place, because putting on sunblock every day in our Texas sun is just too troublesome. It’s just ridiculous for what is supposed to be a 36 inch sleeve to be that insanely, short. Leg length was great but these things surely have the wrong size sleeve sewn on them. I saw a complaint to this issue on your site after I had already ordered, but thought maybe someone just didn’t order correctly. Apparently their review was spot on. I think wherever you have these made, they are putting a small, or regular size sleeve on the wrong suit. I had to wear the thing, so it is soiled enough not to return as new and expect credit for. I will just have to eat it, but I will never trust ordering through your site again, which is a shame, seeing how I would have loved have a selection of different colored outfits for flying agricultural type jobs and avoid sun ravaged skin. Too bad, because these suits breathe well and are surprisingly cool considering the temperatures I have to fly in. I think, until y’all properly address this issue, you will fail to have much repeat business regarding this particular garment.

The sleeves on the large are too short, the legs are absolutely MASSIVE and also too long. When I sit it pulls my shoulders down and my briefs up my backside. I do not know who these are made for but the dimensions are absolutely crap. The bottom of the pants do NOT taper like in the photos on this website, they remain very wide open at the bottom. I understand that's because you need to be able to get these on while wearing boots, but there is no way to cinch these closed after. I got my boots in there while the zipper was fully closed. If they aren't tucked into boots, they will drag on the ground. If they are tucked in, it makes it look like you're wearing parachute pants.

I am a new Coast Guard Auxiliary member. I was told I needed to purchase a flight suit. I never had seen one in my life before. My mentor said in the summertime he only wore his underwear under them. He told me to just look on the internet and I could get on there. So I clicked on the first sight that came up. Yep, they had flight suits and I ordered one. I ordered a 42 regular. It was tight in the butt and the zipper in front did not go down far enough for me to use the bathroom without taking the top part down. So I sent it back and they took off 15% for the return. I stumbled upon this site. This time I read the reviews about their flight suits first. I ordered a 42 Regular and a 42 Long. It was then I realized that a flight suit is really a coverall to go over your tee shirt and pants. These flight suits were far superior in quality in my opinion compared to the other brand I bought. Both of these suits also were too small to go over my clothes. So I ordered a 44 Regular. When it came it fit me perfectly. Even the front zipper unzipped adequately to use the bathroom without taking the top down. I called Customer Relations and asked if I could return the other two flight suits. The gentleman said no problem and while we were still talking, he e-mailed me the return label. I see now I also received a full refund on the other two flight suits. I've only worn this flight suit once as of this writing, but I am extremely satisfied with the quality, fit, and outstanding service I received from this site. Thank You!

First off, I'm a female, 5'0 and 100 lbs--petite, trim athletic type.
I had to get a small, because there isn't an xsmall--it was enormously big on me, so I'm altering it. But I really love this brand, and knew it would be too big...So with all that aside:

Pockets: Excellent--lots of them and everywhere! The stitching is superb.
Zippers: I feel like they stick sometimes (not to material, just don't run super smoothly), but the two-way front zipper is awesome.
Material: Thin, but seems good quality. I don't think this will tear easily. It does feel good when contacting skin directly, it's not itchy to me at all.
Only Con: The crotch has no "reinforcement". Runs super long in the legs, and short in the arms--(I had my husband try it on to prove this--he's a men's small, which is what I bought).
OVERALL: I would recommend this product. Highly functional and attractive for a jumpsuit!

This is a pretty cool coverall. I loved the construction and all details, really well done and comfortable. The fabric feels strong while lightweight so you're not gonna sweat like crazy.
As other people mentioned in several reviews, the sleeves are at least 1" too short, I don't understand why they are mot fixing this..I have been working in apparel for 15 years and when incurred in fit issues we fixed the garment. In general from hip and down fits as a Large, but the top is a bit smaller.. No big deal it's not a fashion piece, but the top should be a little more comfortable and proportioned to the bottom.

The product is great for the money. Fits right according to their sizing chart. Material is heavy enough to last a while. Light enough to be airy and comfortable. It could use a pocket on the thigh or so. -- For the price you will not be disappointed. -- Service was great though I had to ask for a confirmation as it read it gave me one but did not. Could have been a connection problem though. -- Over all the experience was very worth it. I would do this all over again and recommend this site and this product. --N

Very high quality, very comfortable flight suit. High quality zippers throughout. All the necessary pockets and storage, properly placed fitment zippers on the wrists and ankles, and velcro waist adjustment. Probably just as important as the overall quality is that the fit chart is 100% correct. No need to "buy a size bigger/smaller"... buy the size listed that fits your dimensions and the suit fits right. It doesnt seem to shrink at all thru a washing, and boy is it comfortable after being washed!! Great fit, AND nice and soft!! Thats coming from someone 6'4", 250lbs that virtually ALWAYS has trouble finding clothing that fits correctly. Highly recommended if you need a flight suit/coverall that does it all, and does it very well.

This is the first item I’ve purchased from here that is lacking in good construction as well as an inferior fabric. I’m a muscular person of 5’2, 130 lbs, 32-34 inch waist it appears to be made for persons with a very, very long torso. The zippers aren’t YKK which keeps them from moving freely even after treating them with a little Vaseline. I expected them to be a little long but these are a bit extreme in length to fit a 6’ plus size even around the middle. Im going to do my best to alter and hope for a better fit.

I am so happy with my order! It fits perfectly and is fully regulation compliant. TeacticalGear has a wonderful return policy. I wasn't sure on a couple of items that I ordered so I returned them and got a full refund. My last order was exactly what I needed and I am so greatful for the company's patience and working with me to get the flight suit that I needed. Thank you so much. I am going to spread the news about this website. The prices are very reasonable and the shipping is quick! I am going to encourage my squadron to use this company for their uniform needs. Until then, you have a customer for life.

Overall, I am pleased with the flight suit I recently purchased from you. The easy to use sizing guide was about spot on for me and I am pleased with the fit. The quality of the materials used for the zippers and suit itself is impressive. However, I did find a rather large number of loose or untrimmed thread ending which required some trimming. Therefore, I believe the quality control on the finished product could be improved. I am considering however in purchasing another suit.
