Wiley X SG-1 Replacement Lenses meet Mil-Spec MIL-PRF-31013 standards for ballistic impact protection to ensure maximum safety for your eyes. These shatterproof lenses are made of Selenite polycarbonate, and offer 100% protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays. T-shell and foil lens coatings protect the lenses from scratching and fogging to deliver maximum visual clarity. The lenses are also approved according to ANSI Z87.1 testing standards, which are comparable to the European EN 166 test. Notches in the foam gasket allow for innovative top-down ventilation to keep you cool, ideal for working in humid climates. Engineered for exceptional strength and resilience, these lenses hold up in tactical and military environments.

Very disappointed in the lens quality and the scratch problem and I take good care of my Googles as my life and eyes depend on high quality eye protection. Love the ability to change lens and the ease of the operation. Can't believe the lens material can't be more scratch resistant. A good Polarized lens would be a nice addition! I have four pairs of Wiley X and swear by them. However these lens lack the quality of the rest of them!

I have 3 frames of sg-1's and all of the 6 sets of lenses scuffed up to the point that they appear foggy when worn. I take care of all my gear and store them in silk bag they come with. I love the frames and the fact that you can change from clear to tint as mission dictates, but the dollar store quality lenses are straight crap! I'm looking into maybe using polish wheel and compound as soon as I get response from customer service.

I am a big fan . Use glasses for 4 wheeling now . Used them of course in Iraq so definitely keeps the sand out.
