I really like the 24-7 Series Ascent Pants, however, the shorts don't seem to measure up. They seem like they are cut slightly smaller and I prefer the length to be longer. I use the pants for work and I'm not sure I'll be able to use the shorts because they are not long enough. Take the pants, measure an inch below the pocket and you would have the perfect short for work.

Excellent quality, lots of deep pockets which are hard to find in women's shorts. I am not in Law Enforcement (but extremely grateful to all those who put their life on the line every day), wish they were an inch or so longer and the sizes run small. But these are absolutely great shorts. Thank-you for excellent service as well.

I have the same shorts but in mens. I bought these hoping for a better fit. They do fit better in waist and hips, however, these fall about mid thigh which is too short to wear to work on an ambulance.

I was very skeptical about spending another $50 on shorts for work but I was tired of the men's style I was forced to wear & desperately searched for a women's pair that would still be ok for work. Every pair I've bought in the past are either too stiff or too long or don't fit right or ran small. These are perfect ! Perfect length, about 2.5 inches above my knee (I'm 5'6"), nice flexible thin material & the size 8 fits perfect (I'm between an 8 & 10 with other brands) so happy I took a chance. These are great !

Great quality tactical shorts, TruSpec does run a little bigger than 511’s but other than that, I love the light weight, yet durable material and couldn’t ask for a more functional pair of duty shorts with more than enough pockets.

I love the Ascent Pants, however, the shorts are too short. The length needs to be at least 9 inches. Especially if you are wearing them to work or scouting event.

I decided to go up in size to a 4 since i’m usually in between sizes, and these fit perfectly. I’m able to move around, squat, lift, and sit so comfortably. Definitely would buy these again if needed and considering getting some pants from here as well.
