The pants are good quality fabric and sewn well, and they fit in the legs, but not in the hips or waist. The waist was tight in the front, gaped several inches away from my body in the back, and the hips were very tight. I sew, so I know the problem is the way they were cut. The crotch length front to back is too short, which pulls the upper part of the pants at an angle diagonally. This happens when manufacturers are cheaping out and don't want to use enough fabric to cut the pattern with the correct width. If you have a very flat butt, these could work for you.

I normally wear size 20 but these were very tight. But that's ok. Sizes very from brand to brand! However I was upset about the fact that they don't come in larger sizes! Why can't heavy set people wear them? I can't stand when companies do this. Not everyone is slim. But we still work and need clothes too.

Fabric is a nice, comfortable weight. Since I wasn't really sure what size to buy, I'll give some info that might help. I purchased a
size 6. They sit 2" below navel and sort of hang on hip bones. 9" crotch seam to top of waist in front. 13.5" crotch seam to top of waist in back. My hips measure 38", and there is just the right amount of butt room. Had to buy a belt as they tend to slide a bit, due to the elastic in the waist, which keeps the top band cinched, but not snug enough for me. Circumference of top of pants is 33.5". 4 stars not 5 because I hate to hem.

Good quality construction and materials. Well thought-out pockets. The fit, however, was lacking for my body-type (small waist, muscular thighs, 5'2" height and 114 lbs): Although the waist has an internal elastic adjustment band, the back of the waist gaps pretty significantly. A "button" elastic adjustment would have taken care of this . Normally, i'd just wear a belt---but doing so takes up so much room in the crotch that it limits squatting down.... Because of the quality of the pants, was really hoping the fit would be more accommodating. Too, the need to hem the pants added another layer of "work" to adjust/ accommodate the fit....

I never thought I would love these pants as much as I do. I've worked in law enforcement for over a decade and these are the first pair of pants that I actually like. I became used to the regular women's 511 tactical pants which are extremely baggy in the behind with a very long inseam. I felt ridiculous wearing them so I had to resort to purchasing regular women's cargo pants at department stores. Those, of course, had no extra pockets for gear and I also had to make sure they weren't too tight. These pants fit true to size and have the perfect length inseam, are a lower waist with a very good width to the leg. I am 5'8" and 129lbs. The only thing I would ask the manufacturer to add would be a few more colors (olive green, dark brown, etc.)! I am ordering a few more pair so that I can stick my closet!!!

After searching for some decent tactical pants to wear while training, I've finally found some that I actually like AND some that fit me. The sizes seem to run pretty true (I'm 5'2" and weigh approx 120lbs). These are too long for me, but hemming isn't a big deal. More to work with. Just enough room for me - even through the waist . That was my concern, as although I'm a petite person, I don't have a small waist for my size. Built kind of straight up and down. These are comfortable and I'm looking forward to wearing them for training.

I have 2 older pairs of this pant and the waist is comfortable below the belly button. The side pockets have too many layers of material for what I need, thus making it hot and heavy on the sides of your legs. I got the ripstop for the hot humid summers and work outdoors everyday. The separate extra layer of material in the knee is nice for durability, but my knee gets stuck on it when kneeling because it is not stitched to the outer layer. But, for the price, they are very practical and last a long time.

The fabric on these were heavy duty! That is the only reason I even gave them one star. They fit so small!!! I would recommend going up two sizes when you order these! That's one of the things I hate about on line ordering! If something doesn't fit (and believe me these won't) it's a pain to return them!!!

So far, out of the package (I'm interested to see if they shrink any when washed) these pants fit great. They are an exact copy of the men's version with a shorter waist-to-crotch measurement that gives a more feminine look without the bagginess of the men's pants. However, they are not tight and do not come high up on the waist but rather sit on the hips which is nice. Also, the front pockets are deep like the men's instead of useless like most women's pant pockets. The hidden elastic in the waistband means you can sit and bend without discomfort, but the pants stay up otherwise. The unhemmed length is wonderful for those of us with long legs. It is also nice that they hid the magazine pockets inside the large cargo pockets so magazines (or gardening tools, or granola bars, or whatever) can be carried without bringing attention to them, and without them falling out when you sit down.

I wanted to like these pants so bad but the fit needs work. Before trying them on I instantly liked the way they look, the material seems great and I love all of the pocket room. However the hip cut in the pants is very low and the elastic waist band is very stretchy. The crotch is very high and is extremely tight when you sit down. I am constantly tugging them down when I sit and up when I stand. I also cant figure out why the length is perfect when I stand but when I sit it rises up to the very top of my boots. Bottom line the pants ride very low especially with a duty belt and the crotch area is not comfortable at all. I also should have ordered a size or two smaller than I wear because of the elastic waist band but if I did the crotch would have likely been even tighter when sitting.
