First of all this companies customer service is on point like finely tuned blade. But the belt is great, very durable, reversible and worth the price. Have broken several belts in the past and this belt came highly recommended. Purchased, came in in a timely manner, and I beat the you know what out of it. Buy one for yourself and a friend will last a lifetime.

I bought the 5.11 TDU 1.5" belt and the "double duty" reversible belt on sale at TacticalGear. The order arrived promptly after regular tracking updates. The TDU belt has replaced my leather belts for daily wear (see separate review). I'm saving the reversible for when I want a non-black belt or need the extra strength. The double duty is stiffer and heavier -- naturally! -- than the TDU but quite comfortable and a good fit.

Super fast shipping. Great belt. Buckle is strong, "TSA" proof on metal detectors..Thick and stiff enough to hold up any pistol/holster..
Only "con" is that it's so thick/strong it's a little hard to tighten up really good.. I think it'll become more flexable with a little wear...

Decently priced? Yup. Stiff enough for a holster? You bet. Two colors? Awesome. So thick it won't stay tight? Yea... I'm so rry, I know belts need break in periods and the such, but I have never had one that would loosen up from walking through the grocery store. Oh and loose enough that when I got to the register my pants slipped and I so not discreetly displayed my supposed-to-be-concealed firearm to the cashier. Good thing I know her well enough for her to not dial 911.

your sizing chart is off, I ordered the size that said it would fit a 34" waist and that's all it would fit with hardly any tail left over. thinking about returning it for the next size up.

So far this belt lives up to the 5.11 standard. I was a little hesitant about it since the buckle is plastic and not metal. The buckle seems to hold up well and is a strong plastic.

The belt seems to be OK. I order per their chart, i normally wear a 40 - 42 pants, order an XL as per their chart. Will not fit, and that is without an IWB holster.
