5.11 Maverick Assaulters Belt Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

I live in Boston MA and I'm a member of Boston Swat as a Tac Medic and K9. I have been using rigger belts for the longest time and figured I would try something new. At first the belt seemed a lot smaller than how it looked in the pictures but the belt felt stiff and durable. The Velcro didn't feel very strong but once I adjusted to my size and put the belt on I was very surprised at how well it worked and looked. The loop on the front works great when on a patrol with the pooch. The belt is really strong and sturdy even when in full gear. The rigger belt would bend and dip where my drop leg med bag and holster were attached. Which made it really uncomfortable after a long day. With the Maverick I don't have that problem any more. I have been using this belt for little under a year and I have no complaints. I highly recommend it. Great belt! Great product!

The cobra buckle is great. I have another riggers belt that is just the classic hook and loop closure. It is also very sturdy and reliable. It's really the cobra buckle that stands out. Much easier to take off and put on. The buckle works very smoothly and 5.11's smaller male end makes it so that it fits through regular belt loops. The belt is stiff as riggers belts are and is a bit tricky to get the initial size adjusted but once properly set it works seamlessly. I love it and now wish all my belts had cobra buckles.

Tactical gear advertisement picture shows tan color belt with goldish color buckle Closeure. WHAT arrived is pale green and green buckle with only goldish color on release tabs. BEWARE.. Tactical Gear is only a order taker, they contacted the manufacturer and the manufacturer stated the belt has a Greenish Hue that doesn't show up on pictures.. YET.. I can take a picture and it shows up green and a picture of the belt off the computer ..get this.. yeah.. tan color. Will use Amazon in the future they stand behind their product and WOULD NOT sell a green belt as sandstone tan.

At first I thought this was overpriced, but now I want to buy another one.
Very sturdy build and solidly keeps my 5.11 Stryke Pants in place, and holds my paddle holster in place for hours when I'm at the range.

The belt is overall good quality, but runs small in size. I'm a size 32 waist and ordered a medium. It was too small , let alone try to wear concealed carry. Returned to 5:11 and am awaiting a size L

It pairs perfectly with the 511 Stryke pants --- I have been waiting for months on a re-stock of this color as well

The attention to detail in this belt is perfect! The feel of this belt is nothing but comfortable. Ease of adjustment and fit is excellent! I highly recommend this belt!

I really do like this belt for CC, very stiff, won't sag, adjust and forge.t The buckle is strong and can be fastened or opened with one hand!!

Product is good. What I expected. Works well for conceal carry. Did a lot of research of product before ordering.

This belt rocks! Unlike most belts with the cobra buckle this one can actually be threaded through your belt loops with the buckle in place! Plenty sturdy and super quick to put on. Great belt, nice color.
