A first-rate belt suitable for almost any environment, the 1.75" 5.11 Operator Belt is the ideal choice for law enforcement officers, military personnel and firefighters. The low-profile, solid stainless steel buckle is rated up to 6,000lbs, and with the quick click of a carabineer, the operator belt can serve as support in emergency climbing situations. (Note: the operator belt is not designed as a climbing harness.) A hook and loop locking system and durable nylon webbing that locks securely in the belt buckle ensure the belt stays fastened and stable at all times. It will keep its shape after repeated use, fits into most belt loops and accommodates the majority of off duty holsters. Need to carry something else? No problem! This belts accommodates a wide variety of other gear as needed. Quality and durability at an affordable price. What more could you ask for?

Well made durable belt. However, the Velcro pile is sewn on too far to the right so the hook only catches a small portion of the pile. The the Large belt for me is sized right according to the size chart but you need to order the next size. Even though there is more overlap than necessary, it is much more secure. I would definitely order a XL next time even though my waist size is within then specs of 36-38 for Large.

The belt is great, really firm but comfortable, heavy duty buckle, keeps my pants up and all that. But when I ordered it I got the medium, for a 32 waist, and it was much too small. At the largest it would get I could Velcro it if I sucked in my gut, and then just barely. I ordered the large, supposedly for a 36 waist and it fits great, no complaints. I just think it's odd that my 32 waist 5.11 pants all fit great and my 5.11 kilts are both 32 waist but the belt is different.

I bought this belt to serve a duel purpose. Mainly used for owb w/Blackhawk Serpa holster for my 1911 commander. However, I do also use it for iwb with two Alien gear holsters for the 1911 and SA XD-9. Works great in both carry modes, stays tight and no rollover. This belt is stiff and a little hard to navigate through some belt loops. I own three Blackhawk riggers belts and they have served me well. However, this belt is a step up. I just wish it came in more colors.

The durability and dependability of this belt is second to none. I prefer the operator belt to 5.11's other offerings because of the width/thickness/buckle of the belt. Extremely sturdy and Velcro doesn't go bad like several other brands I have used. Belt size/shape performs flawlessly with the Blackhawk Serpa CQC belt loop holster adapter. Buckle is sturdy enough for emergency rappelling situations too.

Been wearing this 5.11 style of belt for years. Rugged and well made, it matches nicely to my 5.11 and Blackhawk pants. The only time I ever need to replace it is when the hook & loop fastening strips wear out which takes several years. I suppose I could just replace the fastening strips, but a new belt once in a while is a nice treat. Supports my OWB carry quite nicely.

Purchased this belt and loved it, fits all my 5.11, vertx, and 24-7 pants with no issues. The plastic piece sewn in-between the nylon is awesome and supports my kit perfect. It is tough to get the tail in tucked back in the belt loop once Velcro-ed but slide the belt buckle to the left and it will lay flat then rotated the buckle back to center. Belt is awesome!

This is one of 3 belts I've ordered from Tactical gear in the Coyote color, and the only one that actually was coyote brown. The other belts are fantastic, but I'd have preferred a different color knowing what I do now. This belt is excellently constructed with top materials and a very strong buckle to top it off. Highly recommended.

Am a firearms instructor so am geared up on the range. These belts never wear out, never break down, always look good, AND hold up your gear. Buckle is metal so it's a little heavier but I love the sturdiness of it...not some flimsy little piece of plastic that will break with use. Definitely worth the money.
