I needed a replacement bag after my original messenger bag gave up the ghost, and what better time to get a tactical messenger bag since they're built super tough??

Enter 5.11 RUSH Delivery! I researched quite a bit online, and found that this line fits my needs the best, so after I checked the sized, I settled on LIMA.

By the way after comparing sellers, this site gave the best prices and seemed to offer the best service. So here I am, I've used this bag for a while now and do not regret buying it. Hats off to this company.

I'm an IT professional and this bag checked all the boxes as far as enabling me to carry the stuff I need. The laptop section is top notch, best I've encountered in comparing with other pure laptop bags or business bags. I'm also able to put in portable batteries and snake charging cables through the sides, and along the flap/molle. I use one bottle holder for a water bottle, and the other for my sunglasses in a hard case. I've put in a couple carabiners for clipping on my car keys and flashlights. The whole thing is built pretty solid, including the adjustable strap. Even though I removed the waist strap, this bag when full, is comfortable to carry on my shoulder, and I can swing it towards the front to reach down and get things quickly.

I do have a few minor cons though... I'm used to having swivel straps, this bag was not designed for it. The buckle ends of the cover flap is too short under the flap itself, so it's harder to quickly unbuckle, you'll have to set the bag down and reach underneath to pinch open the buckles. Not too big a deal, but thought I'll be a little bit thorough.

TL;DR Great bag, well built, lot's of useful space, great laptop section.

I have been looking for a messenger bag that fits my needs at work as well as concealing my pistol. This bag does that and more. I have plenty of room for all my work files, my two tablets fit into the laptop pocket and secure, and I have plenty of room for my full size 1911 and 5 clips to ride along. I got the Lima which is not the biggest bag but not the smallest either. I would recommend anyone looking for a over the shoulder messenger style bag that has great look, feel, and plenty of room. This is the bag for you.

This thing is crafted, not produced. It has all the pockets I need, all intuitively placed.
It fits my laptop and charger perfectly, along with my paperwork, writing instruments, and various other items I need through the day. The shoulder strap is long enough to not be constricting (I’m a pretty big dude) and I can flip the bag to the front to grab my ccw or business card in a flash. Plus the gray doesn’t look too “tacticool” for edc.

The 5.11 RUSH Delivery LIMA messenger bag is superior quality. I am a Interventional Radiographer so I am not your atypical person who would have a bag like this. I am glad I do. From my laptop, notebooks, patient records/research, my lunch, and yes a extremely MANLY diaper bag, it was a great investment. In Indiana, weather changes in an instant. I walk 6 blocks into work through all types of weather. This bag handles them all. I am relying heavily on this bag. It's the only bag I have now. Lightning struck and set my house on fire on April 28th of this year. After I got my family out of the house and called 911, my 5.11 RUSH Delivery LIMA messenger was the first thing I grabbed and started dumping everything I could into it before my house was taken from me. This bag has not left my side since. I am living out of it.

This bag is so dope, I absolutely love it. Has pockets for everything I need for my MacBook Pro. Super comfortable on the shoulder too. Even a place for my gun, how thoughtful and very convenient. Get this bag, you won't be dissatisfied one bit. I'm not being paid for this review just giving my honest opinion about this product, though some monetary substance would be nice.

Well made, light weight, lots of inner compartments. Only complaint is the lack of open pouches on outside for quick to grab items. Probably can but add on to Velcro on. Took forever to get even though paid for rush delivery. Told rush starts from day of skipping. Shipping took four days

Excellent laptop bag. Sturdy construction, spacious interior, expandable with MOLLE pouches, and customizable with Velcro patches. Shoulder & retaining straps are adjustable, comfortable, and cleverly designed. More pockets than I know what to do with, and I carry a lot of equipment.

The videos made the bag appear bigger than it really is. I need to carry around a lot of different things for work from folders and marketing material to my laptop and all my different chargers. I will need to see if there is a bigger bag to exchange for.

I bought this messenger bag as an alternative to my back pack, after over a year use, I am very satisfied. Compact enough to be taken into a bus and stow at my foot side in my office. This bag is big enough to carry my 13" MacBook, Stethoscope, notebook, Bose Soundlink speaker, and a 33.8 FL OZ of bottled water. The waste strap is a big bonus as it helps keep the bag in place around my waist during the days that I decide to use my motorcycle.

Fully packed with the work essentials, there's not quite as much extra room as my old bag, but this looks amazing, feels amazing, and the secondary waist strap is great for keeping it near my body on the train.
