Overall, the 511 MOAB is what I was looking for to store gear in my truck that my be needed when I'm out, first aid kit and such. For this, it fills the bill! I would however, have like it to have an external water bottle pocket and the tech pouch is too small to hold even the smallest device? If 511 makes those changes, it would be perfect!

I have been using this bag daily for over a year. The bag is great. The design of pockets and compartments is well thought out. I carry my M&P 9 compact in the center velcro pocket, and with all my junk the bag weighs 13 pounds. The problem that I have is that the single strap has to be worn across your body to be able to carry the bag for any amount of time. I thought about this when I bought the bag, but I thought that I would be able to wear it over one shoulder without too much of an issue. Sadly this is not the case. So this great bag is relegated to being carried from the house to the truck to the office and back. Which is a shame because this bag is so truly well designed in every other way. The single strap is not a liveable option for carrying this bag with any real load.

The Rush Moab 6 is your typical 5.11 product, extremely well designed and high quality. I've wanted something smaller than a traditional backpack to carry first aid items, and other EDC essentials along with concealed handgun capability and after some research chose this pack. It's got everything I need and the only thing keeping it from 5-stars is the smaller pack on the strap is too small for most modern cell phones. If it were 1/4" longer it'd be perfect but it does hold one of the new modern tourniquets in a place where you won't have to go digging for it. Recommended!

Love this product. have the MOAB10 as a camera bag and the RUSH 72 as overnight backpack bag so with the Tier system to link my MOAB6 to either, gives me another advantage of a smaller carry bag to handle quick day trips. Love the MOLLE system as it also adds dimension for adjusting my ability to carry different loads at different times by adding additional pocket bags with 5.11 or Condor pockets bags.

The pack is a perfect size for carry and for the CCW on may have. It is well made and sturdy. It looks as if it will last for years. The stitching is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone who carries concealed, but does not wear pants with pockets or a belt, for example as an old geezer, I wear sweat pants primarily all the time. So it is a great pack. My other pack wore out and had about 15 pounds of stuff in it. This pack can well carry that, but one does not have to carry so much weight. For a large person, one may have to go to the sporting goods or surplus store and add to the pack strap to make it fit you. But, that is simple and worth it to utilize this pack. Good bargain too.

I bought this to replace a crappy no name bag for hauling gear back and forth to work. All the zippers broke out of my no name bag. This 5.11 bag is great. Well made, sturdy, and looks good.

I bought the MOAB 6 from 5.11 to use as my every day carry bag and could'nt be happier! It's not to big but carries everything I need from pens and keys to a power bank for my phone, personal hygiene to my Glock 19 and extra mag!! I would recommend this bag!

This is my new all use bag. Out shooting pics, it holds all my necessary lenses and filters. out for a day at the park, snacks and water for me and the kids. Oh, and my new holster for my concealed carry weapon. So many pockets and great construction.

I already had a MOAB 10, so I knew the quality would be excellent. I needed something smaller for carrying my IPad 2 and books. Perfect size and a lot of pockets for various items. Nice shoulder strap pocket for my IPhone 5. Also love the hook-and-loop areas for attaching moral and flag patches. Can't go wrong with a 5.11 IMHO.

I've tried so many different styles and never found quite the right bag for EDC/Basic Get Home Bag. This Moab 6 is nearly perfect - it is set-up well with the right amount of room where needed, usable smaller pockets, the perfect size and a great MOLLE platform to add as necessary. 5.11 hit a homerun with this bag.
