I use it to support a JIC (just in case) scenario requiring a quick response to a mission requiring a shotgun and supporting gear. It was a great purchase with plenty of room to store a combat pistol, pistol belt, combat knife, 10x monocular, flashlight, compass, poncho and plenty of extra pistol and shotgun ammo. The MOLLE webbing is plentiful and sturdy. The MOLLE webbing easily and securely attached an Orca medical pouch outfitted with an Adventure Medical trauma kit, an Isreali bandage, a CAT tourniquet, trauma shears, sharpie, spare clotting sponge and a few minor first aid items. Additionally, I attached two water bottle and ration pouches.

The pack is of sturdy construction with a sturdy drag handle although some seams are single stitched. It has three roomy compartments and a space for a hydration unit. I am not impressed with the hydration partition. It will not solidly hang or support a Camelbak, even though there is an adequate slot for tubing and mouthpiece. Therefore, I use that section to store a map pouch. Chest and waist straps are functional features and help distribute weight more evenly. The shoulder straps could use a little better padding but then again this pack is not designed to be a pack with a three figure price tag. The zippers appear to be of good quality and have performed well. The 2" by 3" loop space is adequate to hold a large majority of common morale patches and provides secure adherence as well as a space to display your favorite "tacticool" patch. Also, there is a 1"x6"loop strip for nametags etc.. I highly recommend you consider purchasing this pack. It is a good pack and even better value and of course this site is easy to do business with and renders great customer service.

I thought this would be a good facsimile of an authentic USMC ILBE 3-day Assault Pack --- WRONG!
It is nothing but a cheap copy with no elastic top for the hydration system pouch, no accommodation for the reinforcing back-support reinforcing plate & a non-padded back. It's uncomfortable to wear, the zippers stick & the pouches are a design nightmare.
I'm picking myself up a surplus version of the real deal --- this is garbage!

My son is a sophomore in high school and ordered this for his school back pack. The zipper broke the first day of school. I wanted to send it back but he wouldn't let me since he needed it. I felt like for the price we paid the zipper should not have broken first day.

The size and design are exactly what I expected; good configuration of pockets. This pack has lots of MOLLE straps to attach gear to. I am disappointed in the quality of the zippers, however. I had one break within 2 weeks of use (the metal pull tab, not the actual zipper) which I just fixed with 550 cord. I would have liked something to attach/hang a hydration bladder to on that compartment. I've only used it for light use as I've been concerned about it holding up under extreme conditions.

I've only just received the pack and started using it, but the construction appears to be solid and it has more than enough room for what I need to carry. It rides comfortably on my back and at this price point it is a no-brainer in my opinion.

Really like the color of this bag , it's larger then I thought ( but that's a good thing). Only downfall was that this had no internal or organizational pockets within its three larger compartments . I would have liked this option to make better use of the space. Still really like this pack and planning to use as a get home bag .

This thing has lots of straps, you could attach a sleeping bag, tent and more. It was this bag or a slightly bigger one, when it came in it turned out to be bigger than I thought. I bought 2 of them to start making a bug out bag. I loaded 1 down to about 40lbs. and went out for a 10 mile jog/walk. Came home and inspected every stitch and inch of this product. Seems to be well made and will probably hold up for a very long time.

for the price this bag has held up to several outings as my 40-45lb B.O.B.
one large main pocket and two smaller pockets. m.o.l.l.e. on the sides and front for extra pouches...mine came with a basic m.o.l.l.e. bag that holds a poncho/tarp/rope/stakes perfectly. there are also a couple rows of PALs on the bottom perfect for holding this. Overall good buy. We'll just see what the long term on this is....

This bag is one of the best quality bags I have seen in a long time.
Great price and material construction.
Nice for a few days backpacking and camping.
Everyday use and a great gift idea.

This tuff little pack should hook up fine to my gen2 ilbe main pack.. And the marpat cammo blens in pretty good too
